Maybe I'm biased because I'm autistic and I rarely generalize people, but I've never understood the purpose of grouping people together. We are all unique, even from a biological perspective, yet there are millions upon millions of people who think that their one specific identity can be applied to everyone. And like...what's the point? What is the use of conforming, of fitting in? Just because I happen to occupy the same space as someone else, that doesn't mean I want to become them or vice versa.

It sure doesn't. We're all just a bunch of fleshbags forced to tolerate each other, so why fuss over the exact type of fleshbag we are.

ANTIDISESTABLISHMENTARIANISM

Definitely this. MOM gives the impression of a guy who knows a lot more than he lets on. You don't screw around with someone like that; especially when all his predictions have been accurate so far. As a character I find him interesting because he acts mostly apathetic to a situtation everyone else is taking deadly seriously. The dude definitely knows something that we don't (most likely whatever is in the Black Box™️) and I'm super curious to find out what exactly that is. If only so Maleficent and Pete can finally stop firetrucking around and be actual threats again
