  1. The trouble with that is I often find pre-release material unreliable. A lot of trailers show the games most iconic moments running in optimal conditions. Then you actually play the game...and realize that those moments are all the game has going for it.
  2. Good rule of thumb: as long it's perfectly clear that your song would not make a reasonable substitute for the original, it's legal
  3. For me, a 7/10 means “almost a good game but not quite” A lot of games of this nature feel like they COULD have gone the extra mile but chose not to Other games (especially indie)? Sure I get it. Work with what you have. But I have minimal tolerance for triple A and above developers not making an effort.
  4. Apparently not if they think putting dying films into the dying theater industry is a good idea
  5. Excellent. All the pieces are falling into place... 👏🏼
  6. You have deciphered the pun. Well done.
  7. I try
  8. It means there are times when you require sensory input and this game fulfills that need Furthermore you require a very specific kind of sensory input It varies from person to person based on their neurological development, but typically the need for “stimming” is more common in neuroatypical people.
  9. I guess tripping over the finish line is better than never making it to the finish line
  10. I feel the same. Even Elemental was just…slightly better than I was expecting. That said, I wasn’t expecting much.
  11. Wish almost broke me. It destroyed any final shred of optimism I had. Like…things are getting grim. If you can’t trust Disney, who can you?
  12. For me it’s not just games, but western entertainment as a whole. It’s just gotten worse and worse for the past decade and it fills me with hatred and rage!
  13. I’m shocked you don’t
  14. Sadly, yes
  15. We say as if America has any culture to speak of. The average American’s idea of “culture” is watching Shark Week every now and then to make themselves appear smart. As they click off their reality tv, set down their beer, and pretend they’re benefitting society by working at Walmart.
  16. Honestly, I would have zero complaints if Nintendo just kept porting Ultimate indefinitely.
  17. I mean, I'd be in full support of a turn-based Smash...but probably only me lmao
  18. The only thing missing is a halfway decent single-player mode, and I don't think that's enough to warrant an entire new entry.
  19. Honestly...I'd much rather see a new IP. Any new entry is undoubtedly going to have a smaller roster, and I think that would feel like an inherent downgrade. At least to me.
  20. Well...I guess Kirby is the game I'd tolerate dlc for the most Ultimate has done its job. Any additional characters at this point, and I think the game would just be overstaying its welcome. Lest it become a zombie of a game like Melee before it
  21. New IP pls I have little if any interest in Nintendo dlc
  22. You'll note, this is also why Eggman has attempted to destroy the moon mutliple times. He knows. It's all a conspiracy. Sega's been working on a new console in secret, but so long as the Switch 2 exists, they can't possibly release it. Therefore, they need to eliminate the competition and any traces of it therein.
  23. A prototype is buried in a crater on the moon. That's why there's no evidence of it.
  24. The moon
  25. Ah yes, the next Switch that's totally real and we haven't heard a whisper about
