I think people value the idea of Santa more so than the implementation. The Rankin Bass film “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” does a good job explaining why. The idea of Santa is that of a virtuous man who desires nothing more than for children to be happy and morally well adjusted A lot of people (including myself) find that a very easy concept to get behind

Honestly I don’t think KH is going to win any new fans at this point unless this new story arc goes out of its way to make itself super accessible to newcomers. And I’m not even sure how that would happen.

Even with all that said, I don't find myself trusting Hoyoverse all that much. Something just seems very disingenuous about what they're trying to sell.

From what little I've played, it's a decent game apart from that. No terribly ambitious by any means--honestly it's only bordering on good--but hardly without its merits.
