Hey guys, I've had tripleD since the 26th now and I'm glad you guys are getting to play it. I noticed a complete lack of info online as to where to get certain 'Dream Pieces' to make the different Dream Eaters. Moreover which ones you actually needed to create them. So I just thought it'd be handy for the community to post where they've found specific pieces on their journeys and I can edit the OP to include a big list for our future references. Also requests for how to make certain Dream Eaters/items could be posted? It took me forever to find out what I needed to craft Meowjesty and then where to actually get those pieces I'm sure the web will be full of info soon now that everyone has access to the game, but why not for our community (and those of us without the guide) ?

It's in the process of being constructed. Plus community input is encouraged. It'll help it get done faster

Rampant Figment, Vibrant Figment and Troubling Figment can be bought from the Moogle Shop from the start of the game and they cost 50 munny each.

There's six Special Portals in all worlds except TWTNW, which has only three.

Tidied it up a bit and added a few extra pieces in. Thanks Decimo ^^

Starting at La Cité, you can get these at the Moogle Shop: Rampant Fantasy, Intrepid Figment, Vibrant Fantasy, Troubling Fantasy, Grim Figment. Figments are 50 munny, Fantasies 400 munny.

 

e: And there's no need to credit me for each of them, if you want you can just put a line at the end of your post or something.

You can get the recipes for Ursa Circus, Meowjesty, and Sudo Neku at the medal shop for 2000 medals (after completing all the cups).

 

To make Sudo Neku you need: 1 Wild Fantasy and 2 Noble Fantasies

OR 2 Wild Fantasies and 3 Fleeting Fantasies

 

To make Ursa Circus you need: 2 Epic Fantasies and 12 Wondrous Fantasies

OR 3 Intrepid Fantasies and 1 Epic Fantasy

Symphony of Sorcery SPortal 4 gave me a Savage Fantasy not an Epic Fantasy. :\

Special Portal 1 for Sora in the World That Never Was gives Savage Fantasy not Wild fantasy.

Do you have to do complete the bonuses, for the special portals to get the epic and brilliant fantasys, ive been grinding for hours and i cant get a single one

also is there any possible way to defeat the 3 dragons in rikus portal in the symphony of sorcery?

i can not beat them at all

for prickly fantasy i found one in Sora's speacal portal 4 in CotM and in Speacal portal 4 in SoS

Funny I seem to be having trouble viewing any of the recipes and pretty much everything. I hit show and nothing happens. Anyone know how to fix this?

 

I guess what I'm talking about is the spoilers not opening up when I click on the show button. Seriously does anyone know what's going on here? Was hoping to utilize this guide but I can't really do that if I can't see any of the information.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the item obtained from completing special portals isn't fixed. So far I've only seen two different materials from the same portal, but that doesn't mean it's not possible to get more. (Although it would fit with Dream Eaters being able to drop two different materials, so who knows?)

Wow. This is already better than the BradyGames strategy guide.

Yeah, I realized that the number of rewards differed as I worked on the portals more. From what I've seen, portals 1 through 3 have a couple of regular fantasy rewards, while 4 through 6 tend to have a single "precious" fantasy. I think the rewards for 1 through 3 are consistent within a world, but I don't have enough data to back that up. Of course, I'm probably wrong, as Portal 4 in Sora's La Cite des Cloches already had to be different. =|

 

Here are the interesting drops I've found. I think, though I'm not positive, that these are the only drops for the portals listed.

 

Traverse Town:

Sora 4-6: Malleable Fantasy

Riku 4-6: Charming Fantasy

 

La Cite des Cloches:

Sora 5 & 6: Malleable Fantasy (#4 was random, normal fantasies. I checked it a couple times.)

Riku 4-6: Charming Fantasy

 

Prankster's Paradise:

Sora 4-6: Prickly Fantasy

Riku 4-6: Epic Fantasy

 

The Grid:
