<p>
	Modder <a href="https://twitter.com/water_kh" rel="external nofollow">WaterKH</a> has announced that his newest mod, <em>Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory: Final Mix</em>, is now available for installation via the official PC version of <em>Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory</em>.
</p>

<p>
	The primary function of this mod is to allow all players to match with their friends in the online mode, regardless of their rankings. For those unaware, the vanilla and official version of the game does not feature matchmaking with friends, drastically impeding replayability.
</p>

<p>
	You can access the <a href="https://github.com/WaterKH/MelodyOfMemoryFinalMix/releases" rel="external nofollow"><em>Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory: Final Mix</em> mod via Github</a>,

	Moreover, you can view the announcement trailer for the <em>Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory: Final Mix</em> mod via WaterKH's YouTube channel below.
</p>

<p>
	Specific installation instructions are stated, and the video's description contains numerous links for various resources, such as MelonLoader, used for more straightforward patching.

	So I want to know, what is the hardest song for you to get a Full Chain in? Whether you haven't gotten the Full Chain yet or it took you a long time and several plays of. For me I can't seem to Full Chain Wave Of Darkness I on Proud, I barely managed to get it on Standard. And it's always the same part of the song that screws me up. What about you guys?

	I want to create a discussion on which Disney Worlds we may expect to see in the Realm of thhe "Unreality" for the next Kingdom Hearts game after<span> </span><em>Melody of Memory.</em><br />
	<br />
	As of the Game, Melody of Memory Ansem the Wise mentioned that there are three realms in their realm that they can travel to where many of the KH worlds are explored throughout the series:
</p>

<ul style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<li>
		<strong>The Realm of Light</strong><span> </span>(where the majority of the Disney worlds and original worlds like Destiny Islands and Radiant Garden reside)
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>The Realm of Darkness</strong><span> </span>(Where the Realm of Darkness and where worlds that were destroyed by the Heartless end up in)
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>The Realms Between</strong><span> </span>(Where Twilight Town, Traverse Town, Land of Departure/Castle Oblivion and The Mysterious Tower reside)
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<br />
	He also mentions the worlds of:
</p>

<ul style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<li>
		<strong>Memories</strong>
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Dreams/The Realm of Sleep</strong><span> </span>(Where many of the Disney Worlds that didn't return to the Realm of Light following Ansem Seeker of Darkness' defeat from Sora in the first game appear and also the Final World)
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Data/Datascapes</strong><span> </span>(Consists of Data worlds from Jiminy Journal or the Book of Prophecies, The Tron worlds (Space Paranoids and the Grid) and Game Central Station (Wreck-It Ralph from Union χ)
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>The Other Side/"Unreality"</strong> (The City of Quadratum) - The realm outside of their own reality
	</li>
</ul>

<p style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255);">
	The world of<span style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;"> </span>Game Central Station is one of the obvious Disney worlds to appear in the world of Quadratum (Unreality) likely retelling the events of<span style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;"> </span><em style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;">Ralph Breaks the Internet </em>given that the first film was already covered in Union χ.<br />
	<br />
	As of now, were not exactly sure what's going to be the main setting for world exploration in the next KH game it could be the "Unreality" (that Riku is going in), the Realm of Sleep from<span style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;"> </span><em style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;">Dream Drop Distance </em>or the Realm of Light (as Kairi is doing her Mark of Mastery training with Aqua). Other than Wreck-It Ralph, I also could see The Pixar worlds of<span style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;"> </span><em style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;">Coco</em><span style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;"> </span>and<span style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;"> </span><em style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;">Soul</em> along with possibly <em style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;">Treasure Planet</em>, <em style="color:rgb(53,60,65);font-size:14px;">Atlantis: The Lost Empire</em> and the worlds based on the live-action remakes/reimaginings (e.g. Alice in Wonderland 2010, Maleficent, Mulan 2019, etc.) being possible Disney worlds found in "Unreality" for the next game, it just comes down to how Nomura and his team decide on which Disney and Pixar films they would choose as worlds for the next game, the environment the world can offer and how the world based on the film fits in the game in terms of story and themes cause they like to cherry pick certain Disney worlds.<br />
	<br />
	But what do you guys think?

But I still love rhythm games, so when a series with such iconic (and personally nostalgic) music like Kingdom Hearts decided to make one, I was pumped. Then, as with all things Kingdom Hearts does, it went even deeper than I expected. Like the complex, card-based combat in Chain of Memories, Melody of Memory created another elaborate system. In typical Nomura fashion, the game even includes a pretty exciting main story development. Playing through the masterpieces by series composer and gaming music icon Yoko Shimomura is a thrill. Now, all we need is a new Theatrhythm Final Fantasy."</em>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Masanobu Suzui, the co-director of <em>Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory</em>, sat down with Square Enix and decided to "dig a little deeper" into one of the tracks that he worked on-- the song "Hand In Hand", a reoccurring battle soundtrack for the game series.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	The first step in the process was choosing the track to begin with!
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>"Songs were chosen for a variety of reasons - perhaps their beats and tempo make them a natural fit for a rhythm game, maybe they’re popular with fans, accompanied memorable moments, or even simply elicited an emotional reaction from those of us working on the game.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>“Hand in Hand” from the original KINGDOM HEARTS fulfils all those criteria, making it an obvious choice for inclusion. In fact, it was one of the first tracks we worked on - and the first to be completed."</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	The second step that Suzui talks about is cutting the song down-- some tracks of the game are quite long, and they had to figure out what part of the song they wanted to use for the gameplay.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>"...We identified the section of the track that would be the easiest to play as a rhythm game, and also included the key phrases of the song. From there, we made a cut - essentially we brought out the specific part we wanted to use in the game."</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	Suzui then explains how a document is then made, which concerns how they want the stage to look while it's being played. This includes what they want to show from Traverse Town, such as Cid's shop, the hotel, the item shop, and the Lady and the Tramp fountain. Afterwards, the enemies are chosen.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>"We had several goals when it came to the Heartless, Unversed and Nobodies that Sora and his allies would face on Field Battle stages. Firstly, Melody of Memory is intended to be a celebration of the KINGDOM HEARTS series, so we wanted to bring out the individuality and character of each enemy from the original games.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>It was also important to make sure that the actions by Sora and other party characters when attacking enemies would have enough variation not to become overly repetitive.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>In addition, we wanted to make it easy for the player to be able to read the enemy movements and aimed for a structure with several predictable movement patterns, rather than a different pattern for every single enemy.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>We listed all the enemies from the original KINGDOM HEARTS games and put them into broad categories, based on criteria like whether they walk or fly, if they’re sedate or active, and whether they had a lot of HP and were difficult to defeat.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>We knew that the enemy types would differ for each world so when we were designing “Hand in Hand”, we had to ensure that all movement types were accounted for when making the final selection of enemies to include."</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	When everything has been picked and chosen, a single team member is asked to create the note sequence. Suzui explains that the team member had to listen to "Hand In Hand" a numerous amount of times to create what Suzui calls an "overarching concept for the stage - normal at the beginning, followed by some difficulty spikes around the middle and end of the track.".
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>"They then created separate note sequences for the three difficulty levels with a specialised tool that displays provisional models.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>The most important points to consider when creating the note sequence were not only whether it was fun to play, but also whether or not the enemy selection correctly reflected the KINGDOM HEARTS universe, and whether the input from the player matched the emotional climaxes of the track.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>It was very valuable for us to have big KINGDOM HEARTS fans among the development staff who would pore over these points from their perspective."</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	After that, Suzui explains that it's then time to revise and edits to the soundtrack and the stage itself.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>"Once any track was completed to a certain level, the person working on it filled out a sheet that was circulated internally and gathered the team’s feedback. This included opinions on overall direction, such as how the track, the world, and enemy choice linked together and whether it felt true to KINGDOM HEARTS.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>People also wrote specific requests: for example, this particular note sequence at this particular time should be changed, this particular moment needs a different action - things like that. After using this feedback to make further adjustments, the track reached its first completed form.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>As I mentioned, “Hand in Hand” was actually the first track we completed with this process. At this early stage in development, we weren’t using the most up-to-date sound effects, nor were the motions for Sora and the other characters fully adjusted. But we could still see for ourselves how fun it was to play along with the song.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>It was exhilarating to picture the final game and we could imagine lots of people enjoying it, once it had been polished! This helped us more confident that the game - and the track - was progressing properly."</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	It doesn't stop there by just revising and then sending the stage off to production. They must test the stage over and over again to make sure that it's perfect for playability.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>"Towards the end of the development of the game, once the note sequences for tracks had been determined to a sufficient standard, we played them all across all the difficulty levels. Naturally, that included “Hand in Hand.”</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>These tests let us make repeated improvements and additions, such as evening out any discrepancies in quality due to the early stage in development that the track was made, and adjusting it to be in line with the most recent guidelines for note sequences. We also improved visibility and refined enemy movements - this had a big impact on the difficulty level and how noticeable the prompts were.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>Finally, a few leaders looked over everything again to ensure consistency, and the development version was fully complete. There may have been a few adjustments later due to feedback from Quality Assurance (QA) and external testers, but the bulk of the work was complete."</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	Suzui concludes the blog by saying:
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>"I hope you found that interesting. As you can see, even a single track in KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory was a big undertaking. Each one is hand-crafted to provide an enjoyable rhythm-action experience, and it’s gratifying to see so many players enjoying it now that it’s released."</em>
		</p>

	This was one of my projects since last year, restoring this cutscene track from MoM, particularly due to that gorgeous incorporation of Nachtflugel near the end. Much like when i did it to the Master of Master's theme, this isn't really ripped, as much as it is completley recreated from scratch!
</p>

<p>
	I hope you guys enjoy listening to it without dialougue and sparky sounds all over.

	<span style="background-color:#fefefe;color:#141414;font-size:15px;">I'm quite late, but I just finished MoM. While I appreciate the recap and enjoyed the minigames, I can't say I wasn't a tad bit disappointed. This game was very much hyped to be a Kairi game (box art, the narrator, etc.) but she wasn't even in any parties. She does one fight -- where she's transformed into Sora so you don't even get to actually be her.</span><br style="background-color:#fefefe;color:#141414;font-size:15px;" /><br style="background-color:#fefefe;color:#141414;font-size:15px;" /><span style="background-color:#fefefe;color:#141414;font-size:15px;">I did a slight rewrite (if you can even call it that? less of a rewrite more of a what if MoM was a full fledged side game). Kairi, feeling responsible for Sora's fate &amp; driven by her love for him, sets out on a journey to - hopefully - bring him home. She travels various Disney world’s searching for clues to Sora’s whereabouts, growing in strength &amp; skill along the way, eventually unlocking her deep, hidden memories. There would be 11 worlds and it mainly keeps the actual ending of Melody of Memory, except Kairi and Riku both go in the portal.</span><br style="background-color:#fefefe;color:#141414;font-size:15px;" /><br style="background-color:#fefefe;color:#141414;font-size:15px;" /><span style="background-color:#fefefe;color:#141414;font-size:15px;">It's here if you'd like to read it!
</p>

<p>
	The first step in the process was choosing the track to begin with!
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			"Songs were chosen for a variety of reasons - perhaps their beats and tempo make them a natural fit for a rhythm game, maybe they’re popular with fans, accompanied memorable moments, or even simply elicited an emotional reaction from those of us working on the game.
		</p>

		<p>
			“Hand in Hand” from the original KINGDOM HEARTS fulfils all those criteria, making it an obvious choice for inclusion. In fact, it was one of the first tracks we worked on - and the first to be completed."
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	The second step that Suzui talks about is cutting the song down-- some tracks of the game are quite long, and they had to figure out what part of the song they wanted to use for the gameplay.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			"...We identified the section of the track that would be the easiest to play as a rhythm game, and also included the key phrases of the song. From there, we made a cut - essentially we brought out the specific part we wanted to use in the game."
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	Suzui then explains how a document is then made, which concerns how they want the stage to look while it's being played. This includes what they want to show from Traverse Town, such as Cid's shop, the hotel, the item shop, and the Lady and the Tramp fountain. Afterwards, the enemies are chosen.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			"We had several goals when it came to the Heartless, Unversed and Nobodies that Sora and his allies would face on Field Battle stages. Firstly, Melody of Memory is intended to be a celebration of the KINGDOM HEARTS series, so we wanted to bring out the individuality and character of each enemy from the original games.
		</p>

		<p>
			It was also important to make sure that the actions by Sora and other party characters when attacking enemies would have enough variation not to become overly repetitive.
		</p>

		<p>
			In addition, we wanted to make it easy for the player to be able to read the enemy movements and aimed for a structure with several predictable movement patterns, rather than a different pattern for every single enemy.
		</p>

		<p>
			We listed all the enemies from the original KINGDOM HEARTS games and put them into broad categories, based on criteria like whether they walk or fly, if they’re sedate or active, and whether they had a lot of HP and were difficult to defeat.
		</p>

		<p>
			We knew that the enemy types would differ for each world so when we were designing “Hand in Hand”, we had to ensure that all movement types were accounted for when making the final selection of enemies to include."
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			"They then created separate note sequences for the three difficulty levels with a specialised tool that displays provisional models.
		</p>

		<p>
			The most important points to consider when creating the note sequence were not only whether it was fun to play, but also whether or not the enemy selection correctly reflected the KINGDOM HEARTS universe, and whether the input from the player matched the emotional climaxes of the track.
		</p>

		<p>
			It was very valuable for us to have big KINGDOM HEARTS fans among the development staff who would pore over these points from their perspective."
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	After that, Suzui explaions that it's then time to revise and edits to the soundtrack and the stage itself.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			"Once any track was completed to a certain level, the person working on it filled out a sheet that was circulated internally and gathered the team’s feedback. This included opinions on overall direction, such as how the track, the world, and enemy choice linked together and whether it felt true to KINGDOM HEARTS.
		</p>

		<p>
			People also wrote specific requests: for example, this particular note sequence at this particular time should be changed, this particular moment needs a different action - things like that. After using this feedback to make further adjustments, the track reached its first completed form.
		</p>

		<p>
			As I mentioned, “Hand in Hand” was actually the first track we completed with this process. At this early stage in development, we weren’t using the most up-to-date sound effects, nor were the motions for Sora and the other characters fully adjusted. But we could still see for ourselves how fun it was to play along with the song.
		</p>

		<p>
			It was exhilarating to picture the final game and we could imagine lots of people enjoying it, once it had been polished! This helped us more confident that the game - and the track - was progressing properly."
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	It doesn't stop there by just revising and then sending the stage off to production. They must test the stage over and over again to make sure that it's perfect for playability.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			Towards the end of the development of the game, once the note sequences for tracks had been determined to a sufficient standard, we played them all across all the difficulty levels. Naturally, that included “Hand in Hand.”
		</p>

		<p>
			These tests let us make repeated improvements and additions, such as evening out any discrepancies in quality due to the early stage in development that the track was made, and adjusting it to be in line with the most recent guidelines for note sequences. We also improved visibility and refined enemy movements - this had a big impact on the difficulty level and how noticeable the prompts were.
		</p>

		<p>
			Finally, a few leaders looked over everything again to ensure consistency, and the development version was fully complete. There may have been a few adjustments later due to feedback from Quality Assurance (QA) and external testers, but the bulk of the work was complete.
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	Suzui concludes the blog by saying:
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			I hope you found that interesting. As you can see, even a single track in KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory was a big undertaking. Each one is hand-crafted to provide an enjoyable rhythm-action experience, and it’s gratifying to see so many players enjoying it now that it’s released.

	I’m curious if you could pick any songs to add into Melody of Memory what songs would you choose? as much as I would like to add every song that wasn’t in the game, I’m only going to pick a few which would be:
</p>

<p>
	Face My Fears
</p>

<p>
	Sora’s Sacrifice ( I know it could be counted as another version of Simple and Clean but it still considered it’s own song)
</p>

<p>
	Hearts as One ( Again I know it’s just the Other Promise and Vector To The Heavens combined and both are already in the game but once again it still counts)
</p>

<p>
	What songs would everyone else pick?

<p>
	<em>Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory</em> Co-director, Masanobu Suzui, recently sat down with Square Enix to discuss the highlights and challenges of making the rhythm action game, including track selection, gameplay, stage building, visuals, and difficulty.
</p>

<p>
	Suzui described track selection as being a particularly tricky challenge due to the massive amount of tracks within the <em>Kingdom Hearts </em>Series, the technical and emotional considerations, and the tempo and beats of certain tracks as well.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>Right at the start of development, we made a list of all the different music across all the various games. Then, we collected all kinds of information that we could use to identify the songs that had left a particularly strong impression on players.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>For example, we looked at which tracks had been included on the set list of the recent KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra -World of Tres- tour, and which were voted most popular by fans. We collected all kinds of data, and by studying it, we were able to work out many of the songs we knew would really excite people.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>The element of the game that really brought the selection into focus though was the World Tour. The core theme of that mode is for players to relive the KINGDOM HEARTS series (so far) through music, so we made sure to include as many tracks from important and memorable scenes as we could.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>These considerations allowed us to whittle the options down to a shorter list, but when it came to the final selection, other factors came into play - some technical and some emotional.</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	After defining the tracklist, Suzui discussed the process behind ensuring the gameplay elements felt fun, engaging, and true to the <em>Kingdom Hearts</em> series, with the goal of recreating the same memories and feelings from previous entries.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>One early prototype had notes flowing towards player on a score - a kind of presentation often used in rhythm games. In the background, a 3D model of Sora and the enemies would appear and move according to how well the player input the various prompts.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>But while it was entertaining, it didn’t feel true to the series. The KINGDOM HEARTS games see the player running through different worlds on their adventure, seamlessly transitioning into battles with various enemies - as KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory is about recreating that experience in a kind of ‘digested’ version, we wanted to capture the same feeling and revive memories of those games.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>After further experiments, we arrived at the concept of having Sora and the other characters run along a music stave above the different worlds, fighting as they go. This felt very ‘KINGDOM HEARTS’ and just as importantly, it was fun!</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	On building out stages, Suzui commented that the team had to test the game multiple times to ensure that all elements, and information presented on screen including the camera positioning, enemy positioning, and background models were just right.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>We were very careful not to set an overly complicated or intricate route, as that could distract the player and make it difficult for them to concentrate on the inputs. For that same reason, we ensured that we aligned the camera to even the slightest shifts in any direction.</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	Suzui also commented on presenting the visuals of the game in a way that was not overwhelming to the player, including choosing how far in advance enemies should appear, visual cues for letting the player know when to hit the right beat, and keeping to the visual style of the Kingdom Hearts series.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>When it came to visuals, we carefully considered aspects like the colour contrast between enemies and the background - the information had to stand out so the player could process it easily.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>We spent a long time digging into the visual details of the game, because they really matter! Every single element of a stage could have an impact on its readability, and we worked hard to make sure that they all worked together in tandem.</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	Suzui describes timing as being an element that could make or break the game. With each stage being custom built, the timing for each stage would vary depending on the track.
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>Every stage in the game was custom built. We made incredibly precise adjustments to enemy locations, and the overall balance, based on the movements of the course and its exact curvature.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>For example, the timing for jumps is set to the beat of the track, so leaping into the air at the right time should make players feel like it’s part of the rhythm. Even small details like the time spent in the air following a jump is set to the stage’s specific timing, so it varies between tracks.</em>
		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	On the game's various difficulty levels Suzui shared that Proud Mode was the difficulty that underwent the most iterations to ensure the note sequences, and enemy placements were challenging but still straightforward to the player and synchornized with the particular track.
</p>

<p>
	Lastly Suzui closed off by saying:
</p>

<blockquote class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote="">
	<div class="ipsQuote_citation">
		Quote
	</div>

	<div class="ipsQuote_contents">
		<p>
			<em>As you can tell, making a rhythm-action game is a complicated task. There are so many elements to consider, from the visuals to the timing, and everything has to be tested and refined over and over to make it as enjoyable as possible to play.</em>
		</p>

		<p>
			<em>I’m very satisfied with stages in KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory. I think they succeed in providing a satisfying gameplay experience, as well as evoking memories of the wonderful games that inspired them.</em>
		</p>

	Hey everyone! It's been a while since the previous episodes, but I was fighting to release the best result against all odds haha. This one was really fun to record and Bio and Aeba were amazing guests! In this episode we go a bit off-rails and talk more about the game side of melody of Memory, and rather than just talking about the new music in it, we focused on talking about how the music-gameplay was handled and our thoughts on the game as a whole. I hopey ou enjoy it! When Yen Sid was suggesting that Mickey should try and find the ancient Keyblade masters that had crossed over to another world and ask for their help, I’m a bit confused on who exactly they were talking about? As I can only think of two possibilities but neither seem likely.
</p>

<p>
	I thought they might be referring to The Union Leaders but none of them were masters.
</p>

<p>
	I also thought it might be the Foretellers but given the fact they are most likely going to be working for the Master of Masters I don’t think they would help Mickey.
</p>

<p>
	If anyone knows the answer it would really help as I’m kind of confused about the whole thing.

<p>
	Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory has been updated to version 1.03! This update is 82.51 megabytes large on PlayStation 4.
</p>

<p>
	The update notes simply state that "Various issues have been fixed" which is identical to the update notes for version 1.01.
</p>

</p>

<p>
	While it is always nice to see a <em>Kingdom Hearts</em> title get updated, the lack of specifications for this update leave much to be desired. Online functionality remains identical with no way to choose specific players to play against much to many players' dismay. Hopefully Square Enix will implement the highly requested online improvements that players have been hoping for.
