This looks SO good. It seems the Pokemon company understands that people are getting tired of Ash lol

Well I'm just used to Pikachu's look in the more recent seasons of the anime so yeah :P Haven't read any Pokemon mangas and have only played first three generations so far.

Yeah, that Pikachu looks kinda weird, as if they couldn't animate it right. Takes some getting used to.

More Johto love is always a good thing in my book! Silver and Looker are two of my favorite characters in the series (maybe even my absolute favorites), so seeing them interact was nice. I really liked to see where Silver's initial view of the world came from, too. It really helped to round out his character. As for the second episode, seeing the legend of the Burnt Tower be expanded upon was also really nice. It helped to explain why those three Pokemon are so elusive. Overall, we got another set of great episodes today!
