Posted September 17, 20169 yr Other than Kat's mysterious origins, there are some things that I'm expecting in the upcoming Gravity Rush 2 game. Unanswered questions even. Did the school bus fall off of Hekesville, or was it hijacked? What really happened to Bosley. Kat becoming more mature and/or less naive by the time she regains her memory. Eugie's reason for being mad at Kat possibly getting retconned. The backstories of N'nelica and Alias. Why Nala tampered with Singlor's equipment.
September 17, 20169 yr i'm curious as to how large of a scale the story will be on. the first game felt like the apetizer and GR2 seems like the main course. so many new characters and environments. not to mention what looks to be a meatier story. i think i heard the game clocked in around 30-40 hours? i'm expecting great things here. it's a shame GR2 will most likely be destroyed by FFXV and The Last Guardian upon release.
September 17, 20169 yr I've been thinking about getting the PS4 remaster of the original and the 2nd one. Still not 100% sold on it though. I hope I'm not getting too off-topic by asking, but I would like to get some other opinions before making the investment. Like what are the primary elements of the game? Is it more action or puzzle-solving with the whole gravity manipulation? How would you rate the story and characters? Is the overall experience solid, all in all? September 19, 20169 yr I'm definitely excited for GR2. I do worry about the release window though. I know I'm prioritising Pokémon SM and FFXV around that time I'm definitely gonna try and pick it up after Christmas though! It's definitely a more action-based game than a puzzle one. Personally I liked the world and the characters, Kat was a lot of fun to play as and the game was quite funny with a few twists along the way. Overall, I picked up Gravity Rush: Remastered for €30 and it was definitely worth that. I found there was just the right amount to do in the game and it never dragged on longer than intended.
