Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted October 26, 2016 (edited) Hey guys whats up? I was thinking about how similar the Nightmare Dream Eater Emblem is to that of the Unversed. I first noticed it when playing 3D for the first time and even made a status about it, but at the time it was merely an interesting little detail. But now that x is done and we know that Ventus is somehow connected, I have a theory as to why they're so similar. So as we know, Nomura confirmed that the Heartless and Nobody emblem where both based off of Terra's memories of the mark he, Aqua, Ven and Eraqus wore on their clothes I'm thinking now, if Ventus was indeed the player character of x, then perhaps Vanitas did something similar, basing the Unversed emblem off of Ven's subconcious memories of the symbol he saw emblazoned on Nightmare Chirity To further the theory, although I have no basis for this other than the similar shapes and the fact the the Master of Master created Chirithy, is it possible that both Dream Eater emblems, and Terra's Mark are all based on the symbol seen on the cover of the Books of Prophecy? If that's the case, then every enemy emblem we've seen can be traced back a single symbol. What do you think? P.S. Sorry about the size and quality of the Book of Prophecies image. If the Unversed emblem and the others do turn out to be inspired by the emblem the Book Of Prophecy bears, then that'd be a neat little Easter egg! Guest Posted October 26, 2016 A similarity with all these symbols is that they all connect to Xehanort as a version of Xehanort has had control of these beings... Master Xehanort: controlled Unversed through Vanitas Ansem, Seeker of Darkness: controlled Heartless Xemnas: controlled the Nobodies Young Xehanort: controlled Nightmare Dream Eaters The heart symbolism is maybe the relation to Kingdom Hearts.
