~Johnny and Garland, Melmond~

Johnny's feet sank more into the swamp as he tried to block another blow from the man before him. Like all the rest of the attacks, Johnny could only hope he'd hold out long enough to deal back some of the damage.
Unfortunately, he would not.
Johnny's legs gave out and he collapsed into the mud.
A bellow of laughter came from above him. The giant was taunting him.
"Is this all Cosmos has to throw at me?" the armored man said to his foe.
Johnny tried to stand back up, recalling the events that had led to this.

A mere hour earlier, Johnny and his fellow warriors had been summoned by Cosmos to fight the forces of Chaos. Soon after, they had been challenged by an unknown assailant to the town of Melmond. Upon arrival, they had been attacked by two warriors; one wearing a black coat and the other being the armored giant who had been battering Johnny for the past few minutes.

Johnny found his footing and tried to attack the giant, but to no avail. The sword swing from Excalibur did nothing more than irritate the giant.
The giant retorted, "I have had enough of this." He then backhanded Johnny with his free hand, and Johnny passed out.

Garland stood over his defeated assailant. This would be enough. Not the target he wanted, but enough to draw that one out further.
Garland lifted the fallen warrior over his shoulder and called out to the others currently engaged in the frenzied battle, "Behold! One of your own has fallen! Let us see how brave you are to try and rescue him!"
With that, the two vanished in a puff of darkness.

~Terra. Old Chaos Shrine~

Terra had decided that taking a seat would be easier while waiting it out at the Chaos Shrine. Most of the other warriors of Chaos had left, but others had still straggled behind, like Xion, who had joined him.
Terra had no interest in pursuing strangers to fight. This had nothing to do with him, why waste his breath?
That was when something happened.
Garland, the armored brute that had given them the order to fight, had returned, and he carried a stranger with him.
Garland bellowed to those who remained in the hall, "Look upon the first fruits of battle! I have defeated and captured one of Cosmos' own!" Garland's gaze now moved around the room, "Who would have the first honor of taking out our enemy?"
Terra's throat began to run dry. He knew exactly who Garland wanted to take out the enemy warrior.
This was no execution. This was a test of loyalty.

Nami gulps as she gets ready. She shoots several arrows at him, while freezes the ground and begin to skating around him. While skating, she asked him. "So who are you anyway?" She has a feeling that the red haired man won't be easy to defeat.

~Sanctuary~

 

Sabrina sighs sadly when Lisa got scared of her. She looks at them. "I figured. I'm not evil, really! You see, I'm the daughter of Merlin." She said as she goes to Zaruka and picks her up. "If you want, I'll just leave." She about to leave the Sanctuary.

~Lisa and Hannah, Sanctuary~

 

"WAIT, DON'T GO, PLEASE!" Hannah shouted, catching up to her and giving her a hug. She didn't want to lose a new friend. "P-Please forgive Lisa. She's usually not scared of seeing magic happen. Though this was one of those times when she gets scared. " She continued, hugging Sabrina tightly.

"Not too far now...Give or take an hour and I'll be at that castle.." The rain poured down on him as he continued walking hands still stuffed into his pants pockets. The sound of thunder echoing in the sky. "Wonderful." He muttered.

Sabrina turned around and looks at her with a sad look on her face. "I do forgive her. That's one of the reasons why I don't show my powers in public, especially when there's witch hunters around..." She said as looks down sadly. Zaruka woke up and whines as she pointed at Lisa. Sabrina sighs. "I lost my mother when I was very little. She was framed by my father's nemesis. It was hard for me and my brother and Sister." She said.

~Lisa and Hannah, Sanctuary~

 

"Oh my god, that's horrible... I-I have no memory of my family or past at all..." Hannah said, looking down.

Sabrina gasped quietly as she looks at her sadly. "I'm.... so sorry..... Hopefully you'll get your memories soon....." She said. She looks at Lisa and held out her hand to her. "It's ok. I won't hurt you. Just trust me, ok sweetie?" She smiled at her.

~Lisa and Hannah, Sanctuary~

 

"T-Thank you for your concern, Sabrina... I really hope I get them back..." Hannah replied. Lisa, without any hesitation, got close to Sabrina. She touched her hand and looked at her, then she smiled and said, "G-Good witch!"

~Terra, Cornelia Plains~

Terra looked over to his compatriot as they trudged through the rain, "You're worried about someone who's on the battlefield too?" Terra smiled, "Same here. I'm not sure if that guy meant my Aqua or not, but I'd rather not know." Terra reached into his pocket and pulled out his Wayfinder, "As long as we both hold this, we'll find our way." Terra looked back up as a bolt of lightning struck. In the distance, he could see a figure moving towards something bigger...
A castle?
Terra began to pick up the pace, starting to run, "C'mon. Let's hurry."

~Zack Fair, Melmond~

The teleport attack itself threw Zack off-guard, but SOLDIER training still gave him the reflexes to recover from the blow.
"Teleporting, huh?" Zack said, readying his blade in front of him again. "Isn't that kind of cheating?"
Zack dashed at his assailant and swung his sword at him.

~Tay and Johnny, East of Melmond~

Tay shook her head, "I don't know, Xion. Let me see if he recognizes me." The little fairy then zipped in front of Johnny, "Hey! Yoo-hoo! Big guy, show me you're still there."
Johnny lifted a hand and pushed the fairy away from his face, "Begone, pest."
The fairy hovered in place for a bit, heartbroken from that comment. With that, she dropped and fell onto Xion's shoulder.
"He's gone," she said sadly, tears beginning to form in her eyes. "After all we've been through..." The fairy then turned and fell against Xion's neck, letting the tears flow out.
Johnny continued to walk, "Not much farther left." His eyes focused on the horizon, "And we may yet have a complication."

~Cosmos, Sanctuary~

The goddess looked up and managed a smile. These girls and the Warrior may not have eased the pain, but they had at least made it easier to bear.
Cosmos got back onto her throne and looked at the few there, "Now, we are to act. We may have lost one, but we still are many. We can only hope that Johnny's loss will not bring an end to us."

~Elsa, Melmond~

 

"Take this!" Elsa exclaimed, shooting a few bones at the attackers. She was filled with the will to fight once more.

 

~Lisa and Hannah, Sanctuary~

 

"Y-Yes, exactly. We must do everything we can to stop this Chaos." Hannah replied to Cosmos, feeling determined.

~Xing~

 

~Cornelia Plains ~

 

Xing chuckled quietly and nods. "Yeah. I hope he didn't meant my friends too." He said. He got startled by the lightning as he jumped back a little. He followed Terra and said. "Right!"

 

~Xion~

 

~East of Melmond~

 

Xion looks at her sadly and sighs. "I'm sorry, Tay...." She then noticed that there's a crown on Johnny's head. She was curious about it and asked Tay. "Umm Tay? How long does he been wearing that crown?"

Sabrina nods. "It's best if I stay here with the girls. My daughter needs me to take care of her and I'm scared of losing her from this Chaos." She said as looks at Zaruka. Zaruka looks at everyone and giggles cutesy.

"It's okay. We'll be able to handle them." Hannah said to the young mother. She looked down at Lisa and wondered what she would do. She had promised Elsa that she would stay here with her, but felt very torn about what she would do. Should i stay or should i go...?, Hannah thought.

-Melmond, Vergil-

Vergil placed his hand on the hilt of his blade staring down Aqua. And like a flash he dashed across the distance his katana out, performing a dash word slash with his sword one could essentially call it a faster version of Zanteuken(Butchered it I'm sure.) As he attempted to slash trough the woman with ease though then again this woman wouldn't be a warrior of cosmos if she was weak.

No, he wanted a challenge.

Turning his head he had picked up on people closing in on him not to long ago but he thought they weren't this close looking he saw two figures in the distance approaching he looked and stood his ground narrowing his eyes "...Friend or foe. Friend or foe. Friend or foe." He repeated under his breath as he waited for them to get into distance.

Aqua managed to blocked his katana with Reflect magic but still get pushed away and fell down. She gets up, with some dirt on her clothes. She used thundraga spell at Vergil, (look something like this)

And slashes him in few time. Then all the sudden, she saw bones heading towards the Chaos warriors. Aqua turned around and saw Elsa.

As he follows Terra while the storm continues to rain, Xing saw a figure who appeared to be a boy. (who....is that?.... is he.... the target?...) he thought as he continued to run with Terra. He almost fell down but he regains his balance and kept running.

The warrior places his hand on Hanna's shoulder.  "If you have a previous engagement dont waver.  Allow us to take care of this."  Anna smiled.  "Ill help out while searching for my dad."

Sabrina nods and hugs Anna. "Please be careful." She said as she smiles at her. Zaruka looks at Anna, cooing and squeals quietly. Sabrina giggled at Zaruka and sighs. She stops hugging her and placed Zaruka on the basket.

Nami got startled when Axel encircled her and himself in a ring of fire. After that, she nods slowly and gulps. "Umm yeah." She said. She shoots several arrows at him and summoned a small pool of water at him. Nami then heard Elsa's voice as she turned around and saw her summoning bones at Axel and the other warriors. Nami gasped quietly and was shocked when she come back. "Elsa?..." She said.

"But... Oh alright... I'll stay here, I guess..." Hannah said, frowning. She moved away from the Warrior of Light's hand on her shoulder and went to sit somewhere on a rock. Lisa cocked her head in confusion at this and walked, well, waddled, over to her.

"Huh..." she said. "Maybe that's why he's so different."

Johnny stopped walking, "We're here."

Before them lay a battle Johnny had left, only escalated. A fire had seemingly broken out.

Tay whispered to Xion, "Hey, how attached are you to those Chaos guys?"

Xion placed her hand on her cheek and whispered back to her. "Not much. The only warrior I met so far is a boy named Terra. He really isn't interested with fighting against Cosmos' warriors." She said as walks around for a bit. "And there's another boy named Xing I believe. For some reasons, he seems tense when he heard about the girls that Johnny was with."

Shiro looked at the spiked brown haired guy. "Well, you know who's asking?" He called out to him walking back and forth from to his side and back staring at the two people in front of him.

Vergil used his Darkslayer style in order to take Aqua by surprise right as she cast her thundraga he disappeared into a blue flash right in front of her his flash gauntlets appearing as he twirled his body around slamming the flash boots straight into her. Or attempted to anyway. It appeared he was quite fast.

Terra looked to Xing and then to the stranger, "Thing is, we don't have a description. We only have one bit of information. We're looking for someone who was not summoned for Cosmos or Chaos."

"Well...how would you feel about becoming an actual traitor?" Tay asked. "I have an idea for how to get Johnny back, but I'm gonna need your help, Xion."

Terra looked to Xing and then to the stranger, "Thing is, we don't have a description. We only have one bit of information. We're looking for someone who was not summoned for Cosmos or Chaos."

 

~Tay, Outskirts of Melmond~

 

"Well...how would you feel about becoming an actual traitor?" Tay asked. "I have an idea for how to get Johnny back, but I'm gonna need your help, Xion." 

-Shiro, Cornelia Plains-

"Huh? Cosmos and Chaos? So why are you looking for this person if I can ask?" He said staring at Terra. His eyes still narrowed and he was still obviously he was trying to dig answers out.

 

-Vergil, Melmond-

Vergil jumped back rolling out of the way of the Firaga. He summoned his Summoned swords spinning around him as while he was hit by the Thunder surge his idea was to let his summoned swords slam into Aqua and continually slash her while he raised his katana slashes it downward and then upwards to finish off his counter against the Blue haired girl. If successful he would use the remaining summoning swords spinning around him and move them to launch straight at Aqua. taunting her in the process. "Where's your motivation?"

Xing gulps and was bit nervous. He looks at him as he rubs the back of his head. "Well, the thing is that ahh umm.. we're-umm." He said as he begin to sweat a little.
 
~Xion~
 
~Outskirts of Melmond~
 
Xion was shocked after what Tay just said. She begin to think carefully, looking down and struggling to choose the right choice. (should I...betray Chaos to save Johnny.... or.... should I refuse?.....) she thought while choosing. Xion looks at Tay and said. "I'll.... I'll help you. I don't even like Chaos anyway."
 

~Lisa and Hannah, Sanctuary~

Nami's eyes were widen as Elsa throws Axel around and then drops him. She gulps. Aqua used her Reflect magic to protect herself and then used Mine Spear (hopefully i spell it right) on the ground, appeared as 6 of them it might explode if Virgil steps on one of them. "It's none of your concern." She replied back to him.
