~Johnny and Garland, Melmond~

Johnny's feet sank more into the swamp as he tried to block another blow from the man before him. Like all the rest of the attacks, Johnny could only hope he'd hold out long enough to deal back some of the damage.
Unfortunately, he would not.
Johnny's legs gave out and he collapsed into the mud.
A bellow of laughter came from above him. The giant was taunting him.
"Is this all Cosmos has to throw at me?" the armored man said to his foe.
Johnny tried to stand back up, recalling the events that had led to this.

A mere hour earlier, Johnny and his fellow warriors had been summoned by Cosmos to fight the forces of Chaos. Soon after, they had been challenged by an unknown assailant to the town of Melmond. Upon arrival, they had been attacked by two warriors; one wearing a black coat and the other being the armored giant who had been battering Johnny for the past few minutes.

Johnny found his footing and tried to attack the giant, but to no avail. The sword swing from Excalibur did nothing more than irritate the giant.
The giant retorted, "I have had enough of this." He then backhanded Johnny with his free hand, and Johnny passed out.

Garland stood over his defeated assailant. This would be enough. Not the target he wanted, but enough to draw that one out further.
Garland lifted the fallen warrior over his shoulder and called out to the others currently engaged in the frenzied battle, "Behold! One of your own has fallen! Let us see how brave you are to try and rescue him!"
With that, the two vanished in a puff of darkness.

~Terra. Old Chaos Shrine~

Terra had decided that taking a seat would be easier while waiting it out at the Chaos Shrine. Most of the other warriors of Chaos had left, but others had still straggled behind, like Xion, who had joined him.
Terra had no interest in pursuing strangers to fight. This had nothing to do with him, why waste his breath?
That was when something happened.
Garland, the armored brute that had given them the order to fight, had returned, and he carried a stranger with him.
Garland bellowed to those who remained in the hall, "Look upon the first fruits of battle! I have defeated and captured one of Cosmos' own!" Garland's gaze now moved around the room, "Who would have the first honor of taking out our enemy?"
Terra's throat began to run dry. He knew exactly who Garland wanted to take out the enemy warrior.
This was no execution. This was a test of loyalty.

Xing placed his hand on his chin, rubbing it softly.  ('you need a will and reason to fight'...) he thought. He then looks at Terra and wonders what will happened if they failed to capture Shiro. "So what now?" He asked.

~Melmond~

 

Nami turned around and saw Tay. "I don't know what to do. Should I help them or protect Elsa." She replied, panicking as she looks both distances.

~Elsa, Melmond~

 

She saw that Nami was getting distracted and thought, Goddamnit, what is she doing? She doesn't need to worry about me! She needs to worry about fighting Johnny and getting that crown off his head! Elsa started to think about what Xathnan had said and started to feel worried for Lisa. The mother hoped that Hannah was doing her best to take care of her young daughter.

~Johnny, Zack and Tay, Melmond~

The shield smashed into Johnny's face, pushing him back from his clash with Zack.
Once again, he paused, but this time, something was different.
Johnny gripped his head and screamed.
He was in pain, deeper than he had felt before.
Zack raised an eyebrow. Perhaps the odds were turning.
Zack turned to the Warrior and the black haired girl, "C'mon! One more time should do it!"
Tay watched as Johnny screamed and she too felt a twinge of pain.
She looked to Nami, "Go to Elsa. Make sure no one else makes a move for her." Tay then dashed over to Johnny and flew in front of his face, "John! John! Can you hear me? Do you recognize me?"
It was a look only she could see, but she saw it.
His eyes.
They were begging her.
He spoke, in a voice she knew too well.
His normal voice.
"Run."
Tay was taken aback.
He was there.
And then, suddenly he wasn't.
He growled and his left hand darted at the fairy.
Too fast for her.
The smack sent her back towards the others, into the dirt.
She lay there, only breathing.
Johnny raised his sword before him again and spoke again in the dark voice, "Come at me, Warrior!"

~Terra, Cornelia Plains~

Terra sighed, "We go back and say we couldn't beat him. Hopefully Garland will see the reasoning in that." As Terra spoke, he realized he was more comforting himself than Xing. "I can say that my darkness only powered him up and I couldn't go past that."
The stranger's words, though, burned in his mind.
You can have all the power in the world but you need a will and reason to fight.
Terra shook his head in thought.
But I have my reason. I have a will. What am I missing?

~Johnny, Zack and Tay, Melmond~

Chaos scowled at the girl as he leaned forward towards Hades and his daughter.

"Is that all you think me to be? A demon?" Chaos reached out his hand for her, aiming to grip her by the throat. "Your father serves me. I had him bring you here. I could destroy you without a thought." Chaos smiled, "But I won't. You could be of use to me. After all, I turned one of Cosmos' own to my side, and here you are, summoned not by either her or me."

Chaos turned to Hades, "What do you say, Hades? Care to have your daughter work by your side?"

Xing nods slowly and sighs. "I'm pretty sure he ain't gonna like it though." He replied. He rest his hands on the back of his head as he looks at the sky, still raining as some of the lightning was heard from the distance. He looks at Terra and noticed that something's bothering him. "Is something wrong, Terra?"

 

~Nami, Xion and Aqua~

 

~Melmond~

 

Nami nods and about to go to Elsa's location. That is until she looks back again and gasps as she saw Tay got knocked out by Johnny. "Tay!" She rushed towards Tay picks her up carefully. Xion gasped. "No, Tay!" Aqua charges towards him as she raised her Keyblade and tries to slash him.

~Johhny, Melmond~

 

Johnny smiled and spoke in a despicable growl, "GLADLY..."

As she watched Johnny jump into the air, she said quietly, "He has no idea what I'm about to do to him..." And with that, she jumped into the air and gave him a roundhouse kick to the head, hoping that would be enough to break the crown.

-Shiro, Cornelia Castle-

"...Well, this is it a castle." He dug his hands into his coat's pockets as he walked trough the castles entrance unsure of what to suspect on the inside turning his head they hadn't followed him good. His sword disappeared into a flash of darkness as he continued on into the castle hoping at least something here will at least tell him what the hell was going on Who was Chaos? And who were those guys?

-Vergil, Melmond-

Disappeared in a blue flash as she appeared right where Elsa his hands forming two Flash Gauntlets as he caught her leg and slammed his fist straight into her head knocking her back away from Johnny. "You think you stand chance?"

 

-Kuro, Melmond-

Jumped into the fray now as his claws appeared catching Aqua's Keyblade he gave a grin. "...You're a pretty one! I won't mind slicing you up!"

-Vergil, Melmond-

Disappeared in a blue flash as she appeared right where Elsa his hands forming two Flash Gauntlets as he caught her leg and slammed his fist straight into her head knocking her back away from Johnny. "You think you stand chance?"

She dodged the attack and gave both of them kicks to the head. "NO ONE WILL STOP ME FROM TAKING MY FRIEND BACK!" Elsa shouted at the fiend.

~Nami, Xion and Aqua~

Nami healed Tay fully as she looks at her with a sad look on her face and strokes her head with her finger. "You're gonna be okay..." she said. After that, she placed Tay in one of her pocket and goes to the battle. As Nami goes to the others, she saw the same man that Aqua was fighting, appeared and tries to attack Elsa. Nami gasped and summoned her icy hammer and tries to hit him in the back. "Leave her alone, you Jerk!" Xion charged towards Johnny, fueled with anger as she raised her Keyblade and tries to slash him. Aqua gasps when Kuro appeared and grabs her Keyblade. She pushes him back and jumps back. She turned her head a little and saw her teammates, trying to save Johnny and the man who she was fighting, now at Elsa's location. "Please hang in there..." She whispered herself. She faced the boy and gets ready to duel.

Sighed he once again disappeared into a flash appearing up in the air as he drawn his Katana and placed it back into his sheath what couldn't be seen by the human eye was the fact that he had let a slice in fact three it was a matter of dodging them. Judgement Cut an Inter-Dimensional slash...Technically it's appearance alone showed it was far more than in one slash but rather a multitude that cut trough reality and then reappears in the physical plain.

"WHAT THE HELL?! ALRIGHT, THAT'S IT! YOU LEFT ME NO CHOICE! MEGALOMANIA!" Elsa shouted, summoning several Gaster Blasters and bones to send toward Vergil. She did it many times to confuse him from all angles, then she used her psychokinesis on him to throw him around.

Terra looked over to his comrade, "It's what he said. You can have all the power in the world but you need a will and reason to fight. But I have a will and a reason. What could I be missing?" Terra stopped and faced his ally, "You said yourself that you have people waiting for you back home, and even someone here that you know." Terra looked down to the ground and scowled, "It's not my fault I have the darkness inside me."

Elsa's kick had knocked Johnny to the ground, resulting in an audible crack in the Slave Crown on his head.
Johnny stumbled to his feet, struggling to mantain balance as his head tried to sort out the mess.
The world began to blur. Memories swirled and faded. Reality itself began to spiral out of control.
The second kick didn't help matters at all.
Johnny fell to the ground again. Time seemed to slow to a halt.
He stared at the sky as he lay there, seconds stretched out that felt like hours.
He closed his eyes as he tried to piece himself back together.

Time began to return to its normal speed and Johnny tried to stand.

Tay began to return to consciousness, now cradled in a pocket she was not familiar with.
"Ugh..." the little fairy said as she leaned up from her recline. She felt the movement of the body she was now effectively attached to, and decided against heading back out so soon. She did, however, decide to sneak a peek outside.
She could see Johnny, himself unsteady with footing.
She smiled as she slid back into the pocket.
He's still in there.

Zack could only watch as the area descended into more madness.
Elsa and Nami were now fighting the man in the blue coat, while Aqua started to battle a newcomer to the brawl. Meanwhile, Johnny stumbled around.
Zack could only watch as events transpired.

Johnny looked towards the way out of Melmond, the way he had walked twice.
He looked back to the battle, before deciding to act.
His voice shaky and uneven, he called out, "Warriors of Cosmos! You have no idea what you face! I will return, and you will not be so lucky next time."
With that, he ran away from Melmond.
Zack reached out to Johnny as he departed, "Wait! Johnny, come back!" But to no avail. He was gone.
Zack turned back to Aqua and decided to jump in on her fight with the newcomer.
"Hey, jerk!" Zack said as he ran to Aqua's side. "Don't you know that's not how you talk to a lady? Somebody ought to teach you some manners."

HE'S STILL UNDER THEIR CONTROL, GODDAMNIT!, she continued to think, ceasing her attacks on the blue-robed man and running far away from the battlefield. She no longer wanted to fight anymore, so she hid.

-Vergil and Kuro Melmond-

Kuro jumped back from the keyblade wielder next to Vergil. "So do we go with that guy or fight this clown and beautiful lady." He said giving a wink towards Aqua. Vergil let out a sigh. "...You deal with the girl I'll handle the swordsman." He said placing his hand on his katana as the flash gauntlets and boots disappeared he intended to keep this a sword fight.

 

Unlike Kuro, he was an honorable fighter regardless of sides. "Quite the sword we'll be trading blows." He stated coldly as he stood in front of Zack and zipped across the gap pulling out his katana quickly performing his charging attack Rapid Slash.

 

Kuro faced Aqua giving a smirk. "I don't like hurting ladies so how about I just take you on a date back to chaos's place I saw a guy with a weapon like yours what was his name...Ter something you know it'd be a shame if he failed his mission...Chaos would surely destroy him or turn him into something like poor ol johnny boy." He said taunting hoping at least one of them knew who he was in attempts to anger them.

The young woman curled up into a ball and just cried nonstop. She knew that none of them cared if she lived or not. All she thought about was Johnny, Lisa, Hannah, and the rest of her family. I guess I should go back to Sanctuary and admit that I'm a coward for running away..., she thought sadly.

Xing looks at Terra and sighs. "You're not alone there, buddy. I too have darkness inside me and I was born with it. It runs in my father's side of the family. I do admitted that I have trouble controlling it when I was little." He continues as he raised his left wrist, showing him the black bangle with ancient letters. "Which is why I'm wearing this. My uncles and aunt made this for me and been helping me for long time." He said.

 

~Nami, Xion and Aqua~

 

~Melmond~

 

"Elsa! Wait!" She shouted at her and tried to stop her but she was too late. Xion goes to her and said. "I'm really sorry about your friends. But right now, let's go help them, ok?" She said. Nami nods and both Nami and Xion rushed to help Aqua and Zack. Xion goes to Zack while Nami went to go help Aqua. Aqua was disgusted when Kuro said about taking her on a "date". Her expression later charged when he said something about a guy with a Keyblade and also mentioned half of the guy's name. "Ter..." she then figured out the name of the Warrior, gasped and was surprised. "Terra! You mean Terra?! And what do you mean "if he failed the mission"?! Is he..." she asked. After that, she slowly shook her head and fueled with anger. "No, it can't be true! There's no way that he's one of you!" She shouted at him.

When the young mother had reached the sacred place, she saw that Lisa and Hannah were with two newcomers. I wonder who they are..., she thought, walking toward them slowly.

Lisa heard someone coming and hid behind Hannah. "I hear something. It must be the enemy!" Hannah exclaimed, summoning her fire sword. But a familiar voice made her stop. "Wait! It's just me, you two!" The voice had said. Lisa peeked from behind Hannah and smiled. "Mama!" Lisa shouted happily, running toward her. The woman picked her up and held her tightly in her embrace. Hannah put away the sword and ran to hug Elsa, too. "How did you get back here? What happened at the battle at Melmond?" She asked her.

~Sabrina~

 

~Sanctuary~

 

Sabrina turned around and saw a young woman. "Who's there?" She asked. She about to get her wand until Lisa called her "Mama". Sabrina sighs in relief as she let go of her wand. Zaruka whines at first and begin to cry after Lisa goes Hannah. Sabrina pick Zaruka up and tries to calms her down by rubbing her back gently. "It's ok, honey. Shhhhhh...." she said. Zaruka whines while her mother continued to rub her back.

~Elsa, Lisa, and Hannah, Sanctuary~

 

"Well... I'd rather not say. All I want is to be here with my daughter right now..." Elsa said, holding her child close. Lisa giggled, until she heard whining and looked at Zaruka. So she tugged on her mom's shirt and pointed at the baby, wanting to go back to her. "Hmm? You want to go play with the little baby?" Elsa said, looking in the direction. Lisa nodded and tried to wriggle out of her hold. She laughed at her a bit and said, "Okay, okay, i'm going to her." And so she walked to the woman and her crying baby and sat down, letting go of Lisa.

-Vergil And Kuro-

"Terra! That was it!" He let out a laugh. "Man so clueless most people here have someone on the other side idiot and yours is that Terra guy man oh man knowing Chaos this guy you know won't be the same once Garlands done with him if he failed if he didn't then I have a guy to kill." He said laughing pointing his claws at the two in front of him. "Outnumbered huh?"

 

Vergil sighed dishonorable for someone else to intervene. "We're leaving we got what we needed from this." He stated coldly as he disappeared into a flash retreating. 

 

Kuro gave a wink to Aqua "Guess we'll have to postpone that date beautiful." He said as chains came out from his hands creating a dark portal the sound of screaming like souls echoed out from it as he walked in it the portal disappearing with him going trough it.

 

 

-Shiro, Cornelia Castle-

"Huh?" He felt a light engulf him as he had touched the odd device.

 

-Shiro, Sanctuary-

Looking around summoning his sword as he appeared in Sanctuary "...What the hell?" He said relaxing as he didn't notice anyone around yet letting his sword disappeared he walked around heading towards the nearest presence. "...There's a really powerful yet soothing presence here..."

Who was this person or thing and how had he not notice it's presence earlier?

Sabrina smiles as she put Zaruka down on the basket. "You must be Elsa. It's very nice to meet you. I'm Sabrina and this little one is my daughter, Zaruka." She said. Zaruka stopped crying and giggles cutesy at Lisa as she reach her hands to her. Sabrina then scented another person who is just arrived. "Is someone with you?" She asked.

~Elsa, Lisa, and Hannah, Sanctuary~

 

Elsa shook her head, not remembering anybody following her. Hannah sat next to Lisa and Zaruka and played peek-a-boo with them. Lisa giggled happily and fell backwards, struggling to get up. "Hold on, Lisa. I got ya." Hannah said, picking her up and setting her down in her lap.

Anna and hades edge of madness

 

Hades sighs. "First chaos she has strength to rival Garland so i dont think she takes your threats seriously. The girl was meant to be a tool of destruction. I think its time she embraces her fate." Anna scowls at her father. "Aw screw you you cant make me do a damn thing! This satan wannabe is gonna let me go!"

 

Warrior of light melmond

 

He walks up to nami and xion. "This battle is far from over. We will save jhonny. I dont know what happened. Perhaps Cosmos will have some intel

~Nami, and Xion~

Nami nods. "Yeah.... poor Elsa...." She said sadly. Xion nods as well. "Right." Nami looks at Xion and decided to ask her some questions. "So ummm.... what's your name?" "I'm Xion. I was trying to help Tay to save her friend. I'm one of Chaos warriors... well, I used to be. Don't worry, I won't attack you." She replied. Nami placed her hand on her cheek. "You don't look evil, to be honest."
