Well hello Kh13 this post is a sequel to why KH3 will be popular but this time I will talk heavily about one thing: Disney worlds.

Yes this is the biggest factor for new people to get into KH3. Now remember Kingdom Hearts is known for having one of the hardest(if not the hardest) storyline in games to date. So more than likely it will be Disney. Frozen is still making merchandise after 3 years. So if it's included, you talking about a massive sales boost, and throw in big hero 6 this maybe the most sold my game to date. Now before you say" Kingdom Hearts won't get as popular"," the story is complicated", and more. I'm sure will heard of over hyped games like no man's sky. Good game but people did over hype. But here where the Disney Formula is. KH3 is Disney, and Disney is known world wide. Not to mention that KH3 will have new worlds. Even if it's get over hype for new people, that's actually a good thing. Remember to new people, it will be seeing favorite Disney movies in KH3 not the gameplay. Depending on which world they show, people will get more interested and excited. I even did a small math. There's a 3% chance that a celebrity and/or social media celebrity will notice it, and share positive feedback. That's my 2 cents and give great feedback.

i feel like some would argue MGS has a more complicated story but that's not the point i guess.

anyways idk i'd be surprised if KH3 sweeps gaming audiences like some people think it will. it might get a boost in sales thanks to it being a numbered title and being on an actual console. i'm sure many people ignored previous games for being on handhelds and having subtitles. both could be seen as marks of a lesser game in a franchise ( i know that's not always the case with KH handheld games so don't overreact to that statement).

i guess it's possible that the Disney worlds will attract new fans. i remember the Disney characters being a big draw for me back when the first KH game was still relatively new. only the difference here is that KH3 has a lot of baggage whereas KH1 didn't. it was a fresh new IP with Disney characters there to catch your eye. it was a unique selling point. "Disney characters in a JRPG? What's this?"

with KH3, i feel like it's possible for new players to get turned off from all the plot points they don't know about (which is fair enough considering they're jumping into a series at the 9th entry, like get real people). the series is very story heavy but hey maybe some people will be willing to roll with it so long as the gameplay is top notch.

honestly, like i said i'll be surprised if it does as amazingly as some people here think it will. to the casual observer it will most likely come across as just another JRPG with a nonsensical name and a roman numeral attached to it. word of mouth may get around that the combat must be seen to be believed and that could help. other than that, low expectations.

i mean of course a KH fansite is going to overblow the response to a game they've been waiting for, for years. what is that? projecting? it's a big deal here in our little bubble but outside that, who knows?

Well human, Kingdom Hearts has developed quite a following over the years, and I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume that this following has done nothing but grow over the years! I believe that more than a good half of the fanbase has played all the games, and as such, they know how much Kingdom Hearts III has riding on it! But to the newcomers or people who only played the numbered games, Kingdom Hearts III will look overwhelming, but hey, it could probably attract much attention! The key thing to note here is that this game series is going on 15 years next year, and that's no small feat! That there is proof this franchise is strong, and I think Kingdom Hearts III will elevate the popularity of the Kingdom Hearts series to new levels!  That's what I think, anyway!

With next year being the 15th Anniversary of the series, I expect there to be plenty of exposure to Kingdom Hearts III, hopefully with a Winter 2017 release window announced early during the year!
