Bentley Jones' cover of Simple and Clean

I absolutely love this guy's work. He's known by most as the artist behind Silver the Hedgehog's theme, Dreams of An Absolution, from Sonic 2006, and he's done work for various other video games as well, and he's recently been doing some covers of other artists' works as well. In terms of KH covers, he recently did covers for both Sanctuary and Passion, and now he's just released the first cover for his new holiday album, Simple and Clean (and presumably also Hikari).

I really love this cover. It's not the same as Utada's, but that's the whole point, it's all the passion and energy of Simple and Clean with some Bentley magic thrown in there to give it a real holiday feel (I also sense a lot of inspiration from the orchestral version of Hikari). I think it's absolutely beautiful and it really does feel like the holidays have arrived.

In case anyone else was interested, here's his cover for Sanctuary as well!

I just raided his channel lol

The fact that only the 2 songs Simple and Clean/Hikari and Sanctuary/Passion were covered points strongly to him being acquainted with Kingdom Hearts xD

He has a beautiful voice.
