Hey everybody i was just talking .:Cricket:. one of the sites moderators and i asked her what she thought about starting a monthly video contest on this site for members like me who like making amvs .:Cricket:. said she liked it but what do all of the members think should we start a monthly contest for amv makers

Featured Replies

ya if we make a new tourny/contest we can allow wmm but we're not doing that 'wmm and vegas are judged separately' shit. i personally look mostly at your timing, not your whoring of effects.

that seems far defentalty the best way to judge a contest anyway

I would join, if I could. And yeah, timing is generally what I focus on for my amvs, with a limited amount of effects.

my opinions

1. yes make a monthly contest

2. sure movie maker isnt as good as sony vagas but movie maker is still good i've made some good movies (well in my opinion they are good)

Ehh I use Ulead, and I'm just starting to understand what it can do, a monthly contest sounds good, it sounds like enough time to get competitors to join and to find a judge.

I would join this. And btw, you don't need Vegas to make good AMVs or videos. Several people, including myself, make AMVs using WMM, and they come out great.

If people don't have WMM, and they have Vegas, or vice versa, maybe the contest could be separated into two different classes (if enough people join)

One contest for people with Vegas, one contest for people with WMM.

like you I make video with WMM and also love this idea we got to do this.
