Done a lot of thinking, but I think I got it.  The nobodies do not have hearts, therefore cannot feel emotion.  However as stated by Xemnas, one can renew their heart over time.  Saix also states that they remember what it was like to hearts: "Thats what makes us special."  And that they know how to injure a heart

 

So how does Larxene fit this criteria?

 

         Given the information about remembrance of previous somebody life, Larxene may have been subject to abuse - verbal if you will.  When she became a nobody, she may have wanted to inflect the same pain that she experienced to others.  Or perhaps she had a very sad life.  In turn that may have caused her personality as we known so far.  The bully equation in certain cases is this - victim gets bullied, victim begins to bully others.  And she knows very well how to make others feel bad.

 

We also have that other possibility of her regaining her heart back.  After all, how long does it take to find out if someone is a nobody, especially someone like Larxene.  HOWEVER, I think this was in the manga, but she said that "having a heart is painful", which may point to a possible abuse when she was a somebody.

Yeah , I can see that.She must have had a pretty rough time as a somebody .That could explain why she is such a b*tch as a Nobody .

To be fair, the rest of the Organization weren't exactly saints either (save Roxas and Xion): the original six were explicitly evil and two of them still are, Isa and Lea were most likely lured in by promises of power, and who knows about Demyx, Luxord, or Marluxia but whether or not abuse was involved, they were all huge bitches. I mean, they were basically a terrorist group whose "goals" involved basically killing people in order to harvest their souls. To me, the reason was the same reason why they were unfit to become the Seekers: they all grew hearts without realizing it and the years of endless recon and turning people into Heartless caught up with them which is why Larxene joined Marluxia's rebellion.

I hafta disagree with u on why larxene joined marluxia. She joined him because they wanted to overthrow the organization. By definition of overthrow: to topple, demolish, take over; they wanted to become more powerful than them by use of the keyblade-hence khCoM. In the Manga they said that the castle that never was wasboring and then started their plan.

You know, it would be pretty sad if this was actually the case for Larxene! It's often said that people with personalities such as hers harbor hidden feelings of despair, due to them being victims of abuse! It'd certainly be interesting if this layer was added to Larxene's character! It'd definitely give her some more depth, ya know? Hopefully we'll get more insight on her and the missing Organization members in Kingdom Hearts III!
