SorRik 186 Posted December 17, 2016 This might be old thing but my friend yesterday gave me this GBA version of KH COM. I have a DS Lite and the game works super fine. But when it comes to save my progress of the game and then I quick save, then when it reaches the title screen then it says new game. Uhg its a problem what can I do to save my progress? SorRik 186 Posted December 18, 2016 The internal battery might have run dry? Internal battery of the DS or the game cartridge?
catmaster0116 2,676 Posted December 18, 2016 Internal battery of the DS or the game cartridge? Chain of Memories is a Gameboy advanced game. I remember that with my Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, when the internal battery died I also lost my save file and I was unable to make a new save file no matter how many times I new gamed and saved on a new game. You have 2 solutions to your problem : Have the cartridge repaired or Emulate the game virtually on your PC or phone or another device and it will always save without fail. 1 SorRik reacted to this

catmaster0116 2,676 Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) I see. Hmm I checked the back of the cartridege of the gameboy game and it doesnt have a screw. It was plastic. I don't know. I haven't fixed GBA games before. I'm nor sure if people will fix GBA cartridges anymore since its a very outdated gaming media. Or get a DSTwo flashcard ^^ Yes I agree with Dotmore. A DSTwo flashcard is a 3DS gaming cartridge that lets you run games multiple games which you load yourself. So if you are using a 3DS and assuming Nintendo does not release a patch that stops the card from working - I don't see why using a flashcard isn't a viable option. Edit: Websites are saying that DSTwo won't run KHCoM. But the websites were dated from 2010. So I suggest doing some research to see if the situation has changed before making any investments Edited December 19, 2016 by catmaster0116 1 SorRik reacted to this
