Ok so I just wanted to know what you guys though about there being at least one more filler game before KH3. Some people are glad that there is gonna be a new one, other people just want to play KH3 right now. Me personally it's a little bit of a pro-con list

 

Pros- More Kingdom Hearts games to play

It will probably reveal more of the story

If it's on the 3DS it will be in 3D

May get to play as a new character

Gives me time to save up for a PS3

 

Cons- Longer wait time for KH3

I can't think of any loose ends in the story so what's up w/ that?

I have to go buy a 3DS >.<

Means a longer wait time till I can kick Heartless but w/ Sora again

 

If I missed any just list them and tell me what you think

They aren't going to put all of the games on PS2. That's just stupid. That would've been a bad idea.

The delay of KH3 is due to the fact that it's taking such a long time for Versus XIII to be released. Anyways, I like the fillers. I would enjoy another one.

THANK YOU! finally someone else gets it! just because its not numbered or on a big platform console doesnt make it any less important. every kh game so far besides kh mobile(not coded) has been important.

I CANT STAND THESE FILLERS. the only good ones were the ones out already (excluding coded) REcoded and KH3D are gonna be useless. they just make em so we have something to do. they hardly explain the story and i have to spend 200$+ just to get them. I SOLD my ds so i can buy a psp for bbs and then they come out with another game for DS...WTF. how awesome is Square

I don't get what some people's problem is with the "fillers", I dunno about you, but I do not want to go into KH3 not knowing why Sora's going around looking for a Roxas look alike, or who the random chick with blue hair is and why she magically has a Keyblade. If you have such a gigantic issue with these so called "fillers", then PAY NO ATTENTION TO THEM; move on with your life for a couple of years and get back on the saddle blindly when KHIII is released. Complaining about Re:Coded and KH3D ain't gonna make Square work on KHIII any faster.

Kingdom Hearst II gave Roxas two perfectly viable reasons to leave the Organization, 'Why did the keyblade choose me?' and he wanted to meet Sora.

Days basically threw that away and made Xion ask Roxas to single take on the Organization and stop them.

He probably would have been successful, considering how powerful dual wielding Roxas is. But then Riku stopped him so Sora could do the same thing a bit later.

Not to mention the whole of the Organization got less screen-time than in Birth By Sleep.

Really all I think the games I really needed to get where bbs, and 358 2 days. I don't know what 3d is yet. But yeah, it is a bout time for kh3. I mean, we have only been waiting 6 years????

So, what exactly did Days accomplish, especially compared to Coded and Chain of Memories

I thought Nomura had made Days as a gift to fans, because back in the day people were complaining that they didn't know what roxas was doing while Sora was sleeping. By the way, without all these "fillers" you guys are talking about, we'd only have kh 1 and kh 2, and CoM on GBA, so really, without Re:CoM,Days,Coded,BBS,Re:Coded, and 3D, waiting for KH3 would've been a lot longer if you ask me. I dunno, they worked hard to bring us these titles, and i say they were all good games to date, i'm looking forward to Re:coded, even though it's no kh3. And when KH3 does roll around, it'll be worth the wait, it'll be the last piece of the puzzle that'll explain the whole series. I hope they make a game explaining how Radiant Garden fell, and the beginning or Org.XIII, and how numbers VII through XII get recruited. I think that would make a wicked game.

exactly, as pointless as they may seem to some people, they all in fact have a purpose, some people just don't see it, i even have a little trouble seeing the full purpose of days

I think Days, was intended to introduce Xion, and give Roxas a better backstory. And it gave us a glimpse of how the Organization kinda worked. It also gave us the first bit of info on Axel and Saix's "Somebodies", which was later developped more in BBS. As more games come out, we'll eventually notice that they mesh together more and more. Same with ReConnect and Blank Points, they all piece together a big picture.

Because you know, Birth by Sleep is a main game.
