Since Dynasty Warriors crossovers seem to be the next big thing, Koei Tecmo has decided to collaborate with Square Enix and Disney for their latest project.

 

Now you can play as your favorite Kingdom Hearts characters and mow down countless waves of Heartless and other enemies from the games!

Along with the recent announcement of Pete, KT has also released a couple more screenshots.

 

Looks like there'll either be some sort of Co-op or Versus mode. And it looks like the other hooded figure with Roxas is holding Soul Eater, leading us to believe that Riku-Ansem might be a character, but as of now it is just speculation.

 

More Xemnas, along with Final Form Sora. Whether Drive Forms will be accessible by Sora or if they'll be treated as separate characters is currently unknown.

Although I've grown tired of the base Dynasty Warriors series, I would gladly welcome a Kingdom Warriors game. Hell, I'd even love it if SE made some kind of Dissidia game for Kingdom Hearts.

It would be a stretch. I imagine that, since SE has already made many KH games, they probably would not want to invest in a non-canon spin-off. Plus, I imagine that there are many KH fans out there that have had enough of buying Kingdom Hearts titles until KH3.

One thing to note regarding this screenshot is that the location seems different from the default location showed in all of the other screenshots. It seems that it is a very snowy area, so this might be hinting at a possible Frozen-themed location.

A new screenshot shows Roxas fighting Heartless along with Vivi and Seifer. (Hopefully in Versus mode we can kick Seifer's ass the way we were supposed to: DW style.)

 

 

 

Also, for the first time, we have a few shots from a cutscene. While it still doesn't reveal much about what the Campaign mode could be about, I have to admit that it looks promising.
