[Spoilers] Nomura could have killed this Time travel nonsense

Posted

He really could have with the Book. Xehanort could have been using that to tell the future instead of this heart mumbo jumbo. If he tried hard enough then I'm sure Nomura could figure out a way to retcon it. Xehanort has lied before, so he could have said that and the book is how he was able to split him self again without having to die because if it can make worlds, going off of what maleficent said, then it also should be able to make just people. Luxu could have also told him his destiny and such as well. I'm just spit balling here but you get my point. Am I the only one that's thinking this or do you guys think so too?

How would that be any better?

The time travel "nonsense" isn't really that big a deal.

The time travel "nonsense" isn't really that big a deal.

It would feel a lot more cohesive and less of it was on somebody's Lunch napkin. The book is a lot easier to understand and could be used as the plot point for the next saga because of the problems it caused and that much knowledge shouldn't be just left out there for anybody to find.

I'm just guessing here but after Luxu I'm guessing anyone who was destined to become the wielder of "No Name" or might become the wielder of "No Name" had any information about the book hidden from them completely to avoid temporal paradoxes a situation like you are suggesting could of caused.

Anyone who wields "No Name" should never make contact with the book type of situations

It would still be confusing, but now with an added layer of retconning.

Like 0.2 wasn't enough

nomura should have just ditched the entire second Organization 13/time travel plot and instead focused on MX being the main villain who wants to get Kingdom Hearts.

Sora's killed the heartless and nobody of Xehanort so that means he is fully formed again and out trying to spread darkness to the worlds or something. This prompts Sora and co. to go on another journey and stop him once and for all.

there. bam. KH3 officially set up. see nomura, it doesn't take layers upon layers of plots just to establish a sequel.

instead we're getting KH3 with a truck load of baggage that's going to scare away casual fans and newcomers.

i'll say this though. the plot of the series is at least laughably stupid so you can still enjoy it as a big "What the hell is happening" sort of moment.
