So I was going though some youtube channels to find something to watch and for some reason the twitter icons are missing. the only think they have on them is this grey globe. I check my channel to see if the same thing happened.(of course it did) Has anyone else seen this happen? or is it just me? Because I know my laptop is having issues right now. Hoping to replace it with a dell by December assuming my macbook holds up till then.

Have you tried clearing the cookies and cache of your browser? Because that sounds more of a loading issue, rather than your actual computer.

What OS do you have on your MacBook?  Is your Safari browser up-to-date?  If not Safari, which Internet browser are you using?  I used to have a lot of issues with Youtube and Safari because my Safari was outdated.  After downloading the latest version of Firefox I found websites to run much better and load properly.  It may also be some kind of setting within your browser itself, though I am not tech-savvy enough to tell you which setting to change or look at (it would be in advanced settings, I think).

 

Also, be careful of Dell; I've had some bad experiences with those.

Interesting. I had some problems with YouTube before where the whole page wouldn't load properly. The only thing that fixed it was adding a VPN plugin from the Chrome Web Store and setting it to America. Try that.

Sorry about bothering you with this issue. Half the time i can't tell if it's something going on with youtube having some sort of update or if it's something on my part.

Have you tried scanning your computer for malware, viruses or the like? Sure you're using Mac and practically no one wastes their time creating stuff like that for OSX, but it's still vulnerable.

Ive already scaned my mac It's happening all over the web browers no matter what computer I use. Are you sure You havn't seen or had any issues on youtube?

Interesting. It's been a while since I've used YouTube on PC browsers, so it's just now that I've noticed that I'm having this problem myself. YouTube logo won't appear, same with like and dislike logos etc. May be something from their end.

I haven't looked at any , just videos.

When you get the chance try and look at the channel and try and see if there are missing. My guess is that people are having random problems going on with youtube.

It's bothering because it affects my channel and the videos i put on it.

Other than some loading problems, I haven't really noticed anything.
