Hollow Bastion White Trinity Mark (PS4)

Posted

Okay, so something odd has come to my attention. In my copy of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 for PS4, in Kingdom Hearts 1, I finally got to Hollow Bastion and was able to use the white trinity mark. However, this is where the odd part comes in, I noticed that online almost every search that came up on Google said that the mark's treasure is supposed to a Firaga-G, however in my game, I got a Thundaga-G instead. So like did they change it for the PS4 version and no one noticed or something or what?!?! Kind of confused? :?

That Trinity yields Firaga-G in the original KH1 (not Final Mix).

It's Thundaga-G in KHFM (PS2, PS3, and PS4).

Probably a change, like how 1.5 for PS3 swapped several vanilla gummi block and dalmatian locations.

Those are most likely Final Mix changes rather than 1.5 changes. 1.5 just happens to contain the Final Mix version of the game, which originally released on PS2 but only in JP.

The Final Mix version changed a number of things, such as rewards you get, a Trinity being moved, etc.

I apologize, I didn't realize there was a difference and had never heard of a Japanese FM for the PS2.

KH1, KH2, and BBS all got Final Mix counterparts released only in JP shortly after their release in NA.
