So I was wondering we now know that because Xemnas and AnsemSoD have been vanquished(in present time) Terranhort has been restored since the split became when Xehanorts heart was in Terra's body. So supposedly Terranhort is somewhere hiding with all of his memories restored but surprisingly enough he didn't make an appearance in DDD... why is that so?

Also in DDD ending we see Master Xehanort being the leader of the Organazation thus serving as his the main antagonist in that particular version of himself.

 

My question is how will Time travel play out in KH3 if as we can see there clearly seems to be a time limit in time travelling since they all went back to their own eras to carry on the same path only to end up again in the present.

Wont this also cause a paradox? In order to vanquish all the 13 version of Xehanort The Guardians must travel back in time and defeat every version in its own era.

But as it has been said you can't change what it destined to happen.

I'm I missing something or am I just overthinking this whole thing?

 

EDIT: and so that ultimately means that all of Xehanorts versions can travel in the present because of the existance of Terranhort. So its possible he didn't appear in DDD so it would be assured that he would be safe and able to make it at the keyblade graveyard so everyone could be there?

It's possible that Xehanort already got a hold of him. After all, since this version of himself would still carry Terra's essence within, it would be a good idea to keep him under lock or key, or alternatively, keep him as a pawn. He does still have access to this Keyblade as well as the Guardian after all, so he's not defenseless.

 

There's others thing to factor in as well including whether or not he's already been made into one of the unknown cloaks or if the Lingering Will aspect of that scenario is canon or not, but either way, I think it's plausible that Terranort's doing more than just hiding around, although if he is, I would imagine he's already actively plotting against the True Organization.

Well, having 13 versions of the same character interact with each other would itself be considered a paradox if we're thinking linearly, but since none of them immediately cause the universe to explode when in proximity with each other, then this is clearly multiverse theory time travel. So no, that's irrelevant.

Since with seen Master Xehanort himself, I really don't know what to think about Terranort. In my opinion, the most simple and plausible way to solve Terra's problem would the following:

In Blank Points we see Terra and MX talking and MX stating that the "sly fox, Eraqus" got a hold on Terra's heart. So what I think is that when Terranort became a heartless and a nobody, only Xehanort's heart went through the process while Eraqus and Terra were somehow protected. Absen SoD and Xemnas took the form of Terranort because it was the last "shell" the heart was in. When they both got destroyed, the heart went to its original form (MX). As for Terra, when Terranort was divided, he was set "free", maybe fell into darkness, maybe Ansem SoD or Xemnas took him as a prisoner... or maybe nothing of that, you know...Nomura logic

As for the time travel thing, I have no idea on how everyone will gather on that fated place. Everytime I try to think about it, it gets worst. I have a feeling that Union X might explain something, since we now know the power of the No Name keyblade. But to be honest, they could have made it way simple:

Destroying the heartless and nobody from someone makes the person comeback it's understandable and acceptable. But the new Organization could have been made from their data. It would be so much simpler and would give a reason for several characters come back (imagine fighting a possessed Xion!!!). But again... Nomura logic

MX is the one that got revived because it's the original form. T-X could be anywhere, really. We don't know if all the 13 Darknesses will come from different points of time, or what.

Honestly, I think Terranort didn't appear for the sake of a "surprise". Mickey and Riku were around when all the Xehanort's gathered, and because Mickey hasn't actually met Terra yet, and the fact that it was Terra who bequeathed Riku with the power of the Keyblade, it'd ruin the surprise of realising that Xehanort posessed Terra's body.

Nomura even mentioned that we should keep Eraqus's presence in mind regarding the revival process.

I take it you've read the DDD Ultimania, then?

Even if Terranort got revived, he would just be a "dead body" because his soul is trapped inside Lingering Will. Except if... Eraqus took over Terranorts body and is now plotting against the Org. 13. Oh man, this is something I totally want in KH3.
