"House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and a congressional aide were shot by a rifle-wielding gunman who sprayed a hail of bullets at a GOP baseball practice in Virginia Wednesday morning, before U.S. Capitol Police took the gunman down. Scalise was "badly injured," according to a tweet from President Trump, but expected to recover. A spokesperson from Scalise said he was "stable" and undergoing surgery after being shot in the hip. Five people were "transported medically" from the scene, Alexandria Police Chief Michael Brown said."

I've been checking it out and the entire situation worries me.

How did someone get a semi automatic rifle with over a 100 rounds of ammunition into WASHINGTON DC? As a very pro-gun Republican who quite honestly knows where the worst gun laws are (Chicago, Detroit, NYC, and Washington DC are very very strict, draconian infact) the fact it happened in DC at Capitol Hill...

Something does not sound right, especially as the gunman specifically was looking for the Republicans.

Well, this just goes to show that the world keeps going nuts every day, and it's sad, honestly. :/

Unfortunately, it looks as though things will get to a point that being outdoors won't be safe anymore! God help us! D:
