"Memories of a so close, yet so far time...it all comes tracking back to a certain point...i hope i can figure out what it is i can do now...that certain point has caught up and now, it seems "my" Birth by Sleep...has begun.".

 

Chapter I: The New Arc-Sora and the new outsider.

 

"...Hey! Sora! come on man! we'll be late for college!" said a young man waiting outside what appears to be the cross between both a shack and a house, as inside the house, getting ready was another young man, age 19, wearing a very nice and specific uniform, opening up the window and saying to his friend waiting outside "Okay! i'm just getting my pack-lunch, don't go wandering off without me Kuze!" said the young man, as we catch a glimpse of his very spiky hair and before we know it, we see him opening up his front door and then see a glimpse of the crown shaped necklace strapped around his neck, as lastly, we get a full body view from bottom to top of the young man and then see a close up of his smiling face, this smiling face belonging to the young man known none other, than Sora, the "once" hero of the Keyblade, himself, smiling with a huge grin on his face, as the sun shines brightly down upon him.

Kelly took Dai's words to heart and thought about the thing she held closer to her heart than anything else, her family. With this Kelly tried to focus and come up with something. She relaxed her soul as her body readied to face the attack from Dai. However, when she went to summon something, she didn't find anything conjured up, but instead she found herself jumping backwards quick enough to avoid Dai's attack. Though she jumped quickly, it wasn't cause of that speed thing Sora had for power, it was something else, but what? "Wow! I didn't know I could jump and dodge like that! What was that?" Kelly asked aloud with excitement in her voice.

Dai smirked as he saw this, as he readied the "Eye Of The Wind" Manifestation Blade again. Joseph smiled slightly as he saw this, and unfolded his arms. He was surprised to see this unfold before him. Elder Tou smiled slightly as he ran a hand through his beard, as he saw this as a good sign. Dai channeled Nothingness into his Manifestation Blade as he prepared another thrust. "Good, Kelly, very good. But now, I shall power my Manifestation Blade with Nothingness so I can give it power, so that I can see what you can do, do your best to hang on, as this is going to be quite the gust." Said Dai, talking to Kelly. Dai raised his Manifestation Blade, and thrust it forward, and sent a gust of wind towards Kelly, and watched to see if she could do something about it.

Kelly was relaxing her soul still but focusing on what she could do to stop the gust of wind attack. She then was doing something before she even thought about it. She somehow casted a Reflect spell and reflected the gust of wind back at Dai. "Wow, how did I just do that?" Kelly asked wondering how she was able to cast a magic spell when she didn't have magical powers. It was almost like something was waking up inside of her as she calmed her soul. She didn't know what was changing about herself, but she felt a certain power she didn't feel before.

Dai felt his attack hit him, and he was thrown back a bit. He looked at Kelly as he he got up, and readied "The Eye Of The Wind" again. "Impressive, Kelly. It would seem that something is happening." Said Dai, talking to Kelly. Joseph folded his arms as he saw everything that transpired, and felt proud. Elder Tou pondered in his thoughts regarding the situation as he ran his hand through his beard. Dai began channeling more Nothingness into his Manifestation Blade, which began to crackle with lightning. "Now then, let's see what you have what it takes what to do about this attack. Do your best, and focus on the things dear to your Heart, remember your vow to them, and focus on those thoughts and this attack." Said Dai, talking to Kelly. Dai charged at Kelly, and began to thrust his Manifestation Blade at her from a distance away, sending bolts of Nothingness at her as he dashed towards her.

Kelly thought about her life thus far, how she met her true love, how she made the decision to spend her life with him, about how Serenity became the newest member to her family, and how she had happiness in her life because she truly had a family, even though it had just been herself and Scarlett before Horizont came along. Suddenly, Kelly found something in her hands, it was a shield that had appeared out of nothingness, and while it wasn't complete, it was enough to stop the bolts of Nothingness from hurting her. But as soon as it block the attack, the shield disappeared. "What? What did I just do? I had an incomplete shield in my hands! Was that part of the power?" Kelly said with excitement on her face.

Dai smiled as he put away his Manifestation Blade. He folded his arms as he looked on at her. "You have manifested your Manifestation Blade, and it's a shield, it's fitting for you. We shall have you undergo the second step tomorrow after you train with your Manifestation Blade, which is to attach the Mark Of Efil onto your Manifestation Blade to give it power like a real weapon, and then after that, we'll see about the third step regarding turning the Manifestation Blade into a Keyblade if you wish. Your Manifestation Blade may end up looking a little different tomorrow, as we saw it's start." Said Dai, talking to Kelly. Joseph smiled as he unfolded his arms and walked over to Kelly. "You did well, Kelly. Let's rest up here for today, tomorrow, we'll get you through the second step. You're getting there." Said Joseph, talking to Kelly. Joseph looked at the ceiling. "When I gained the power of my Manifestation Blade, it was a mere stroke of luck, when I was stuck in the Realm Of Darkness by Kye banishing me long ago, surrounded by Heartless, I remembered my Father's words regarding the process, and I ended up doing it when they nearly got me... That's something I never forgot. You've made a good start, Kelly." Said Joseph, talking to Kelly. Elder Tou smiled as he watched the situation unfold in front of him.

Kelly thought about something for a moment, 'A shield, my blade is a shield? You know that actually makes sense, as I want to protect the ones I love and the number one thing used to help a solider protect themselves is a shield.' Kelly thought to herself in her mind. She then looked at Joseph and listened to what he said about how he got his blade. "Well, thank you for helping me today. Now, where is my room? Where do I rest up for the night?" Kelly asked Joseph with a smile.

Elder Tou walked over to Kelly, as he walked out of the room, and pointed to a set of rooms on the left side of upstairs. "You two can sleep in either of those rooms. Have a good rest, tomorrow will have you undergo training with your Manifestation Blade, which may undergo a new form when we see it next time when you train, and attaching the Mark Of Efil to it give it power like a real weapon. We want you to be prepared for it. Dai will show you to your rooms." Said Elder Tou, talking to Kelly. Dai nodded, and walked up to the left stair case, and waved a hand for Joseph and Kelly to follow. Joseph walked up the stairs, and looked at Kelly. He was wondering how Kelly would do the next day in her training.

Kelly followed up the stairs and looked at Dai and Joseph. If it weren't for these two reminding her of what is truly important to Kelly, she might not have gotten this far. She smiled as she looked at Dai. She then looked at the rooms and wondered which one she should pick as hers for the night. "So which room should I pick?" Kelly asked with a smile.

 

Meanwhile, someone appeared in the shadows of where Kelly had been training earlier. This person was the mysterious warrior Akil, and Akil had been watching Kelly for some odd reason. "Harry would be proud if he was here right now. I'll make sure to let him know about all of this." Akil said as they clearly wanted to tell Harry about the experience Kelly had been through today. Akil then disappeared back into the shadows.

Dai looked at Kelly as he smiled at her. He folded his arms as he looked at her. He looked at the rooms behind him as he smiled. He turned towards Kelly as he waved his arm towards the rooms. "You may choose which room you'd like, Kelly. It's up to you." Said Dai, talking to Kelly. 

Kelly walked up to the room on the left and opened the door of it. "Well, I guess I will see you guys in the morning. Good night." Kelly said with a smile as she walked into the room and closed the door behind her. The room wasn't too big but not too small either, and it had a bed and its own bathroom with a shower, so Kelly would be able to take care of herself in here. She flopped down on the bed and looked at the ceiling, she then pulled out the White Heart rose and pulled out a picture of her family. 'Whatever happens, I need to make sure I protect the ones I care for, they have always protected me, now it's my turn to do the same for them.' Kelly thought as she smiled at the picture of her family.

 

Mrithun looked at the barren wasteland and felt a feeling of pain in the land. He didn't realize what had happened here, but he could feel emotions that made him think something happened here, something bad. "What happened here, Terra? It seems more worst than the Bone Graveyard back at the Underworld. Seems like there is a history here of something that I just don't understand." Mrithun asked and told Terra.

Thus it came to be...the Red Union of Naraka...the Orange Union of Preta...the Yellow Union of Animals...the Green Union of Asura...the Indigo Union of Humans and finally, last but especially not in the least category, the Violet Union of Deva...these are what the 6 Unions would become known, as after Lux, The Key and The First Light had bestowed them with their tasks and their duties to fulfil...as for the Blue Union because of disconnecting itself from the other Unions of the Rainbow Dandelions that Luxu created, for some reason, it returned, led by its Foreteller...only to attack the other Unions and try to make sure that their respective roles with the Six Paths went unfulfilled and thus, tasked by both Luxu and Lux, the Red Union, the Blue's former superior and counterpart was tasked with its' annihilation, a huge battle ensured...it would become known to be, as "The Unsound War"...because it was such a small war that it never sunk into the depths of history for people to remember, i bet that guy Elder Tou had completely forgotten about it by now...however, the bout was a one sided clash and victory...the Red Union practically eliminated the Blue, leaving their numbers dwindling...soon, they were little to no Keyblade wielders at all and so, after escaping from that small but huge final showdown costing many peoples' lives, the Blue Union led by Foreteller Blue, decided to invent a new way of combat, in order to protect both himself and his remaining subordinates, that's right...you've most properly guessed it already, the way they came up with was the Manifestation Blades, they were the 1st ones to create and wield them and the one who was the 1st to wield Young Xehanort's Keyblade was none other...then my True Keyblade Master: Foreteller Blue, now known these days, as only Aoie Kubo to the public, however, remember when i said they escaped with their lives? in truth is that's only half true and the real truth is that those members of the Blue Union, all of them...became Nobodies, able to wield the power of Nothingness, even Master Blue was a Nobody...that is...until three years ago, that's right, Sora, by some twisted turn of fate, you destroyed our Heartless just before our Nobodies...giving back our true bodies and at the very same time, we became mutants, those that still retain powers of Nothingness are called Nomades because we were made in Nothingness and the difference between us and your friend Axel/Lea, as well, as the original Organization XIII's members is that they only wield the power of Darkness, haven't you noticed? they and Riku here don't use Nothingness, they use the powers of Darkness and Twilight/Light respectively, THAT'S why WE can open up Corridors of Nothingness.

Joseph went into the room next to Kelly's and sat on the bed. He looked towards the window as he smiled. "Kyle, Mare, her training is now underway." Said Joseph, mentally talking to Kyle and Mare. He decided to get some sleep as he laid on the bed. He pulled the covers over himself, and began to make small snores.

Mrithun looked at the barren wasteland and felt a feeling of pain in the land. He didn't realize what had happened here, but he could feel emotions that made him think something happened here, something bad. "What happened here, Terra? It wasn't long after, that Kelly made herself ready for bed and fell asleep herself. However, that is when the Dream happened, the important dream of Kelly interacting with the person who she didn't know she was connected to....

"This is where it took place...the final showdown...with Xehanort, Kye and the X-Blade three years ago, here is where Sora used Balance Mode: Final Activation and quelled the war with a single swing of his Keyblade covered in true Light, however, in the process...he lost his Keyblade powers because of using such a very most powerful technique strengthen by the power of his Heart, i felt here would be appropriate to begin your training, tell me, you only have a sword in your arsenal, correct?" said Terra to Mirthun, as elsewhere...

 

"Riku is basically a Human Nomade because he forged his very own weapon before gaining his very own Keyblade because of it going down the pecking order and choosing you instead Sora." said Saltire, drinking a can of Light ale, as Riku replied "...You just HAD to bring THAT up, didn't you?" said Riku, a bit comically unnerved by Saltire's remark.

"...Anyways, BECAUSE of being Human, your weapon, the Soul Eater wasn't a Manifestation Blade and didn't need an equipment attachment to make look and feel like a proper weapon, it WAS a proper weapon, its true that normal Human beings can still create Manifestation Blades if they so wanted to like in Young Xehanort's case but your case Riku...is slightly different then everyone else's..." said Saltire, as he was hinting at something that Riku didn't quite seem to fully understand... (This will be explored in KINGDOM HEARTS IV :].).

 

"Thank you...father in law, i just KNEW Kelly could do it! so, have you received any progress updates from Riku about Sora's training?" said Mare, asking Joseph.

Mrithun looked at Terra, "Yeah, just a sword and magic, I'd figure that would have been enough to get around in this realm. However, clearly that is not the case, and now I know that I won't be able to get by with just those, will I?" Mrithun said and asked Terra as he realized that he would need more power than what he already has.

The Dream of the First Queen

 

Kelly found herself back at the Sun Kingdom in what was known as The Temple of the First. She wondered why she was back home but before she could say anything, a figure appeared on the Shrine of First and looked at Kelly. The figure was none other than the First Queen of the Sun Kingdom. Kelly was shocked to see a person her people worshipped in a way appearing right in front of her. "Great First Queen? What are you....."

(Just to be clear, the Great First Queen could be like say Onmyodou's mother and Aia's grandmother and not Ulbel, who was Onmyodou's wife, so you have creative freedom there WakingDawn, unless you want to go along with Ulbel that is?).

 

"...Anyways, its because of you Sora, that we are indebted to you for giving us our bodies back and thus, we wish to return something back to you...namely, the Keyblade obviously." said Saltire, as he revealed that he and the rest of .E.M.B.L.E.M. are grateful to Sora for what he did for them during the X-Blade War, however...

 

"Wait, you said that your Union was practically destroyed though, so how did you guys become .E.M.B.L.E.M. and how was it that you said that you restored multiple Keyblade wielders' powers before me? why is Aoie Kubo who was your former Master trying to hurt everyone?" said Sora, coming to the crux of the matter, as Saltire and the rest of the .E.M.B.L.E.M. members look down gloomy before Saltire raises his head up and proceeds to answer.

(Think of her before Onmyodou and that she was actually the person who came up with the world's name and deciding to run a kingdom there. So yeah basically Onmyodou's mother. )

 

The First Queen looked upon Kelly, "Do not finish that my child. We do not have long here. I've come to let you know a truth, a truth of who you really are." The First Queen said as she looked upon Kelly. Kelly looked puzzled about what the First Queen meant by her words. "Kelly, you are not just destined for greatness, you are destined for much more. You have the powers of myself locked inside of you. This is because of a spell I enacted while I was alive. I knew one day, the time would be right for a new Queen to obtain my powers and abilities, and use them to help bring peace to the worlds once again. However, my child, you must awaken the powers yourself, for I may be connected to you, but I'm afraid this is the last time we shall be able to meet......

"...Back when Onmyodou and the fellow rulers of the 21 Kingdoms and 21 Worlds worked together to stop Kokuou, there was a certain law that was made...that, should a Keyblade wielder for whatever reason lose their powers...they were not permitted to regain them, you see, to keep the peace keeping times up, they wanted as many Keyblade wielders as possible but also vice versa, they wanted as many LESS Keyblade wielders as possible, since it works as a double edged sword, trying to keep peace whilst using power was not exactly a healthy way to rule a Kingdom and a whole World no less to the maximum degree, what i mean is, ruling through power alone was no way to rule at all, so they tried to diminish the numbers, as much, as possible during the Era of the Master of Masters whilst trying to keep them to a steady number during the Era of Luxu afterwards, it was a sort of buisness plan and you see, our Blue Union was trying to increase its numbers by gaining access to more Keyblade wielders over and over time and time again and again...over time and again, we tried to expand our numbers however means necessary in order to do so, that's what led to my induction into the Union but because we broke a sacred taboo, we were forced to leave, even though in the end, we actually did so but by our own choice, so when i say we restored Keyblade wielders' powers, i meant we restored the powers of Keyblade wielders back in those old days, there was actually a method to all that madness that didn't involve Magi Blades which were yet to be discovered after our defeat at the hands of Foreteller Red and his Union, the reason why we waged war on them was because we didn't believe in what their principles and other things were, their morals, their codes of honour, etc...we attacked the other Unions because we wanted to show that our way was for the best since we believed that we could control the power but in the end, the power controlled us and led us to near total extinction we were just simply no match for the 1st Union to be formed under Master Luxu directly, because of what we did, we were left with the members we have now, plus Foreteller Blue and the renegades that he currently has with him, we are all that's left...of the Blue Union, however, we became divided on a difference of opinion and so, i was chosen by Blue to lead my side of the remaining Blue Union members, as he had wanted the members that disagreed with him to be led by me, who possessed a both strange and mysterious power, just like he did, what that power is...is a secret that stays with me, so basically that's the whole story concerning Aoie Kubo." said Saltire, only for Sora to whisper to himself "But not the story about Aoie Kubo himself personally..." said Sora, as despite wanting to know more, he decided to respect both Saltire and the others' opinions, Riku however was still concerned.

The First Queen looked at Kelly, "The reason why we can't meet again is because of the cost of the spell. I fell after I envoked the spell, and thus my body, my mind, my heart, and my soul were all used up to preserve a future that can be free to live without fear. The only way I am able to be here right now is because I made one more spell that allowed me to be here. Now Kelly, you must learn out how to use my powers for yourself, and learn what to do with them and how to control them on your own. But be warned, if you happen to get to hotheaded, you may find the power draining you and forcing you to become evil. Now that is all I can tell you..." The First Queen said as she disappeared.

 

Kelly suddenly woke up and pondered to herself, "The powers of the Great First Queen are inside of me?" Kelly wondered what this could all mean for herself and how she would use and create such a power.

"Alright! plan of action men!! its time to start practising with one another!!! we need to learn to better strengthen our attributes and skills!!!!" said Pais, rallying a bunch of minor Keyblade wielders, nodding towards their teacher, as elsewhere, in a private training room, Horizont was learning, trying to master his Keyblade to a whole new level, saying to himself the words "In order to better protect my family...i have to do this, to save Kelly and Serenity from those guys, i won't let those monsters threaten my daughter...EVER AGAIN." said Horizont with a stern tone and look on his face, as he began preparing to train alone, the door was open so he was welcomed to others training with him, just hopefully they would not get hurt, as he intended to put in, as much concentration, as he could without letting the backlash of his abilities hurt everyone.

Elder Tou was sitting on his throne in the dimly lit room, thinking about something. He was thinking about the training that Kelly had started. He was wondering if Kelly had what it took to fully create a Manifestation Blade. He folded his arms as he pondered in his thoughts. "So, Kelly... Tomorrow's another day, let's see how you prepare for the second step." Thought Elder Tou, mentally thinking to himself in his mind. 

Mrithun looked at Terra, "Yeah, just a sword and magic, I'd figure that would have been enough to get around in this realm. However, clearly that is not the case, and now I know that I won't be able to get by with just those, will I?" Mrithun said and asked Terra as he realized that he would need more power than what he already has.

 

Suddenly walking through the open door where Horizont was none other than Akil. "Alright Horizont! Fight, fight, fight!" Akil said quoting the words Axel once used at Roxas in Kingdom Hearts 2. "So, you really want to protect your wife and especially your daughter more than anything, correct?" Akil asked Horizont wanting to know what he really wants the most.
