I made this account just to pose this idea (I do not know if it has been thought of and posted yet) that came to mind after watching all of the BBS videos (no point in buying a psp for one game right).

 

We know that Sora harbored Ven's heart when he was a child, which means that he released three hearts, not two, when he unlocked his heart to finish the keyhole. Kairi's heart returned to her body, Sora's was lost in darkness, but then what happened to Ven's?

 

This poses two possibilities: Roxas actually had a heart or Ven woke up.

 

Since I haven't been keeping up with KH news too much I don't know if the latter is less likely than the former, but the former seems to have no consequence, nor does it make for any sort of plot twist. Or there is the possibility that I'm wrong and missed something.

Roxas had Ventus's heart, which is exactly why you see him cry throughout the game. If you are a regular Nobody you can't cry. People might try to counter that with Namine, but apparently she is a special Nobody, hardly even a Nobody to state, but to me, her existence confuses me

No, only Sora's and Kairi's hearts were released. Roxas is technically still a Nobody by definition, and Ven's heart was sort of a free bonus that came along. It's also the reason why Roxas looks like Ven, as Sora's body used Ven's heart as a blueprint and reshaped itself accordingly.

Ven's heart, after Sora turned into a heartless, got released into Roxas. That is the reason why they kind of look the same

Ven's heart used to be part of Roxas, remember? So when Roxas, who is made up of Sora's body and soul, as well as Ven's heart, merged back with Sora... That's when Ven returned to Sora.

Explain why he cries, why he looks like Ven. Like I said, he is still a Nobody by definition, but one of the things that makes him special is having Ven's heart.

When Roxas entered back into Sora during the beginning of KH2, Ven's heart entered with him, so Ven's heart is back where it used to be, inside Sora.

Actually he has, at the end of bbs vanitas merges back into ven making vens heart complete, but loose.

And then after that battle he destroys Vanitas, thereby destroying the darkness in his heart, and forcing Ven to rely on Sora even more than he already was.

1. Birth by Sleep? Yes, definitely.

2. No, UMD only.

3. Honestly, the Go is a big waste of money. It's like $50 less than a Wii or PS3, and does less than all of the non-Go PSPs due to lacking a UMD drive. Not all of the games will make it onto PSN by the way. Essentially, it's a smaller version of the PSP-3000, and does about half as much.

Another great thing about the PSP over the PSP-Go (If I also understand correctly...) is that the PSP 2000 and any higher version can be hooked up to your TV, but I don't know if it is possible with the PSP-Go.
