Kingdom Hearts 3's framerate discussion

Posted

This thread will be about kingdom hearts 3's framerate

The most important I'm worried about for kh3 is it's framerate on the regular ps4. I know video games in general don't have perfect framerates, but if kh2 can do it, I know kingdom hearts 3 can do it as well.

since 0.2 is practically a demo for kingdom hearts 3, let's talk about it's framerate

0.2 on the regular ps4 constantly drops below 30 fps at times. Do you think kh3 will have the same problem as well or will be manage to lock the framerate or at least force the framerate to be around 29/30 frames per second

I think KH3 will run at smooth locked 30fps on a regular PS4.

Though I'm not so sure it'll run at constant 60fps at the Pro, considering 0.2 didn't, but it's a possibility.

since it's unlikely we'll get 60fps i'm just hoping for a stable 30. framerate drops would really kill the flow of the gameplay and judging by how crazy the combat looks i would hope the dev team would be aware of this potential problem and aim to fix it.

Stable 30 on regular PS4 and probably 60 on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X
