~100 Years After the Revival of Hyrule (Breath of The Wild)~

"Dear Warriors, whoever you are...We are in a dire need of help. A strange and eerie presence is lurking around our peaceful land of Hyrule. Villages and people are becoming victims of an unknown force. Witnesses have been saying that some locations might be under a curse. I have no knowledge of who or what might be causing these perplexing events, but I know that this situation cannot be ignored. So, if you have acquired this letter, please come to Hyrule Castle immediately. We will converse more in person. I request your assistance.

Sincerely, Zelda"

A blonde, long-haired princess dressed in a traditional pink and white Hyrule royalty attire made her way to the one window in her room. The envelopes that had a distinct design with a usage of purple and white so rare that only the royal family had it were filled with notes that expressed the same message. Six in all, one by one, they flew outside with the wind guiding them.

She took a deep breath...And prayed a short prayer.

Please...In the name Hylia I plead that all will be well in the end...

~Kokiri Forest/KoKo Woods~

Deep into a forest where the grass and leaves were gushing with green colors, rays of sunlight that found ways to slide through the small openings of the leaves from above, and blooming dandelions, sunflowers, roses, and even violets can be found across the hardest pieces of wood. Kokiri, Koroks, and fairies lived and played along their green land, in the tree branches, and even in their own treehouses held by the one and only tree whose own face resembled that of a wise old man, the Great Deku Tree.
But one of these houses stood out unlike the rest. A small treehouse coated with green and yellow colors that was striped across the roof and walls, a red door with the name "Kai" carved on it. Inside this room contains a warrior with bravery, strength, wisdom, and the will to carry on the legacy of the He-

"Zzzzz....Zzz...."

Aah...Never mind. It's just a lazy Kai sleeping in his bed. With his hat on. He loves that hat.

At this moment, one of the pleading letters in Hyrule Royalty envelopes was whisked into the KoKo woods. Next to that of Kai's house was a small orange birdhouse. The letter made it's way towards the treehouse, but was caught in the birdhouse instead.

"...Who...Who turned out the....HUH!?" A feminine voice said. The letter was pushed out and was quickly caught from under by a little fluttering, orange ball fairy. "It looks like...A letter?" She carried the letter upwards and into the open window of Kai's. His room was sort of like what a usual human boy's room would look. His shelf was filled with comic books of Hyrulian heroes and adventurers and even some cook books on how to bake pie. Some souvenirs of "treasure" can be seen on top such as stones with strange markings, pieces of a yellow diamond, and a strange fox mask. A brown backpack was hung on the wall near his door holding a Rupee bag in the side and a camera in the other. A small sword and shield was also hung on the wall behind and above his bed.
The orange fairy flew downwards towards the sleeping Kokiri and slowly landed the letter near his bed on the floor while coming up from below it.
"Kai, wake up."

The pointy eared boy continued to snore, a little louder this time around, with a hint of drool to be added.

".....Screw it." The orange fairy quickly rose up.

"KAI WAKE THE HYLIA UUP!!"

As any Kokiri, Korok, or anyone would do, Kai jumped out of his bed in pure surprise and fell on the ground. The Kokiri boy and sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Gaah....Pixi, why'd you have to wake me uuuup? I was having a good dream." He whined a bit.

"Let me guess. Was it about p-"
"It was about the Greatest Flavor-filled Pie EVER!!" Kai exclaimed.

"Yeah...I thought so." Pixi replied, probably annoyed by the tone of her voice. Kai was fully awake now and turned his head to face Pixi flying in the air. "Wait a minute. I'm usually the one waking you up. What's with the role switching here?" He asked.
"Look at this! It flew into my house just a few moments ago." Pixi flew towards the envelope. Kai looked down and examined it. "A letter? No wait...I've seen this design before." He looked closer at it.
"Come to think of it, looking at it now it does look familiar." Pixi commented. After moments of pondering, a loud gasp can be heard from Kai's mouth. "N-N-...NO WAY!!! Could it be, there's no way!" He quickly picked up the envelope with fast excitement. "Pixi, do you know what this means!?"
"Umm....Not really."

"PIXI!" The Kokiri grabbed his fairy friend gently. "It's a letter...From the Hyrule Royal Family!!"
"Th-The wha- wait, wait, royal family? You mean...Kings, queens, and princesses? THAT royal family??" Pixi question in utter surprise.
Kai nodded eagerly and hurried to his shelf, shuffling through his comics. "It's an envelope design that's so rare that only the Royal Family can use it. Any attempts of a fake can be quickly realized just by looking at the symbol on the back of it. Does it have a small yellow triangle at the right of it?"
PIxi used her round (fire-fly ball) body to flip the envelope to facing the back. At the white bottom right corner, a very small triangle can be seen closer up, but can be missed by the average human eye or attention span. "Umm....Oh! Yeah, I see it!"
Kai hurried back to his bed with his hat nearly slipping off revealing his blonde hair. He slipped it back on of course. He held a book titled "Royalty In Reality. Written by Groose".
"This guy name Groose was a guard back in the castle, who was the author of this book. He's retired now, but it just gives so much detail of what was life like in the castle even as a guard." The boy flipped through the pages and then pointed at a picture of the same exact envelope. "See? That's clearly identical to the envelope we have! Plus, here's another picture examining the back. If you look closely, the same triangle is there!"

"You're...You're right! It is the same triangle! So that means..."
The two slowly look at the envelope. This was the real deal, they thought in their heads. Temptation's spirit had started to consume them both.

"....Should we open it?" Kai asked.

"Mmmmmm....It wouldn't hurt to." Pixi responded.

Kai quickly grabbed the envelope and opened up the letter. The two read it carefully.

"A curse?" Kai questioned.
"Shadows?" Pixi questioned.
"Warriors needed?" Kai questioned.
"Meeting Zelda at the cast...lllllleeee????" Pixi questioned even more.

Kai couldn't believe his eyes. Princess Zelda pleading for help and wanting to meet potential brave warriors willing to bring peace to Hyrule. He looks towards Pixi...And grins a wide grin.

"Kai...I know what you're thinking...I KNOW what you're thinking...And you know what I'm thinking."
"And you know what I'm thinking." Kai matched perfectly.

"....Don't do that. Okay, anyways, uuummm....I would say no, saying that there'll be danger, monsters, and possible death roaming around. Buuut you don't care, do you?" Pixi explained.
"Nah. I don't mind." Kai answered.
"Thought so. So in conclusion...What the hey, let's just go."
"YAAAHOOOO-"
"HEY!...First you need clothes."
Kai looked down and saw he was in his pajamas. He nervously laughed. "Right, right."

The Kokiri hurried to his closet and hastily began getting dressed.
What a stroke of luck this morning turned out to be! Heh heh! Meeting royalty...This is gonna be so cool, all the other Kokiris will be jealous!

Dressed in the traditional Kokiri attire, Kai jumped up and got his sword, his shield, and his backpack. He opened it up and brought his green flute. Kai played this tune...

He took a deep breath. "Nothing does wonders better than a musical, morning ritual. Heh heh!" He then opened the door to the bustling chatting and laughter of multiple Kokiris and Koroks. He then jumped down from branch to branch and landed down at the bottom. He then waved goodbye and set off out of the forest with Pixi flying by his side.

An adventure awaits!

When Raj stepped up and introduced himself...Zelda facial response was a look of surprise. "P-Prince??" She blushed and looked to the side scratching her cheek with her index finger with a nervous smile. "Aw jeez...Honestly, I didn't expect any more royalty to come here. Eh heh heh...." She soon stopped blushing and looked at Raj with a calm, but cheerful smile. "But it's fine. The letters chose who they chose and I trust it. By the way, no need to be so formal to me." The Princess turned and started walking towards her bed. "No 'Your Highness' or 'Princess' or all that royal stuff. You can do that with my father." She jumped and sat on her bed with a little bounce added on. "For me, just call me Zelda. Or Z. Z's alright. So, what are the rest of your names?"

Kai jumped forward and bowed. "Name's Kai! Kai Kokiri. And this is my fairy partner, Pixi."

"Better. Better than sidekick." Pixi responded. Zelda/Z's astonishment could not be hidden as wonder struck her eyes. "Oh wow!" She leaped off the bed and came up close to Kai, which of course surprised the Kokiri for a moment. This isn't your ordinary Princess at all.

She circled around Kai, seemingly studying him. "I've never seen a Kokiri up close! I mean, I heard that they were beginning to come back, but now I have proof! How old are you?"

"Um, 18. I'm pretty sure."

"Wow. So age really doesn't affect your appearance!" She gasped once she saw Pixi. "OH MY GOSH A FAIRY!" Pixi flew up and began to glide above Z. "I've just never seen one up close! I've always thought they were just fascinating."

"Well uh...Heh. I guess us fairies are pretty cool." Pixi said, with a hint of confidence and even gloating in her tone.

"A Zora and a Shiekah? Wow..." Zelda rubbed the back of her head. "I didn't expect this kind of group to be here. Eh heh heh heh!"

If the Sheikah could show her emotions she would be laughing at the face the Zora was making, one of complete confusion, but instead she was watching the princess.

"As you said, Princess, I am Rabiyu of the Sheikah," Rabiyu said calmly, "I am from the desert, just like Prince Kaj. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

The young Sheikah bowed slight, followed by the Zora at her side.

"My apologies, Princess Zelda. My name is Kalifa of the Zoras," she said while bowing once again, "it is an honor to meet you."

Rabiyu wanted to know the reason they were summoned, and she was going to be blunt.

"I wish to know the reason you sent those letters, Princess," she said, "apparently, there is something dangerous out there and you need help to take care of it."

Zelda giggled at their reactions. "Pleased to meet you as well. And like I said, no need to be formal. Zelda or Z is alright." She said with a wink.

"Oh! Right, right..." She cleared her voice and her expression was now a more stern look. It was almost as if she switched gears with a snap of a finger. From curious and casual to seriousness. "So given that you've read the letters...Like I said, I don't exactly know who or what brought upon these weird odysseys...Let me explain."

"Across Hyrule, we've been getting reports of bizarre occurrences. Things that should not be happening. Like if you got close to Death Mountain, you would feel cold. If you owned a farmland, the entire field would be wilted or black in just the next day. Those are just examples of what we've heard."

Kai crossed his arms. It was beginning to peak his interest. "Are there any clues at all on what it might be?" Kai asked. "Like, if anyone has seen anything at all that might be connected to these occurrences."

"Actually...Yes." Zelda responded. She walked over to her lamp and pulled on the switch.

Click!

The light from the lamp enveloped the room. Everything can be seen clearer now. "A few people have said that they have seen something dark...A deep black color...Almost like a shadow..." She turns to face the Warriors. "In fact, that's what people have codenamed it. 'Shadows'."

Kai looked down and went into thought. He hasn't heard anything about these 'Shadows'...

"They've described shadows as misty with glowing red eyes...I haven't seen one myself..." Her tone loosens up a bit. "Though seeing one would be pretty cool..." She muttered. "But I was wondering if any of you have seen one."

Kai shook his head. "Not at all."

"Not that I can remember," Kalifa answered, "just your regular variety of monsters."

Kalifa tried hard to remember something that resembled what the princess was talking about, but nothing came to mind.

"I'm afraid that I haven't seen anything with that description," Rabiyu said, "The only reference that I have is about the beings unleashed during the Twilight Incident ages ago, the people at the time called them Shadow Beasts, but I doubt that's what we are dealing with now."

Raj straightened up, hiding some surprise at Princess Zelda's decorum. Though, this was a more private setting and an unexpected meeting. Still, it was comforting that she accepted him. This could be the first steps to better relations between Hyrule and the Gerudo. Nox didn't introduce herself and began wandering around the shadows of the room, eyeing the Princess's room.

Stepping back, the Gerudo Prince listened to the details of the quest he and the others had been summoned for. These "Shadows" were concerning. And perhaps familiar.

"Nox?" He called out.

"The lady ninja is right." The Imp answered from a shadow in the corner. "These don't sound like anything from the Twilight Realm. You have your own darkness problem."

Though this did pique Nix's interest. Perhaps something stolen?

"I too have never seen something like this." Raj said. "How long has this been happening?"

"I too have never seen something like this." Raj said. "How long has this been happening?"

The appearance of Nox somewhat surprised Zelda given from her expression when she spoke. She shook the expression off once Raj asked her his question.

"We've gotten the reports about a month ago. So it's fairly recent. But...That's just the tip of iceberg of what these 'Shadows' have done..."

"What do you mean 'tip of the iceberg'?" Kai asked with a raised eyebrow.

"....There is a Great Fairy in each major land across Hyrule that oversees the condition of the land. To make sure nothing unnatural or bizarre happens there. Aqua, Terra, Ustrina, and Silva. Each respective to their own location. If something ever happens..." 'Z' reaches out her right hand. A yellow triangle glows on the back of it. "They use my Triforce of Wisdom to contact me."

"Woah...The Triforce of Wisdom..." Kai whispered under his breath. Never in his life would he have expected to see a real piece of the Triforce.

"However...two days ago...I feel like I...Lost my connection to them. It's like...They disappeared." She said with a hint of worry. "I still don't want to believe this, but...I think the Shadows may have done something to the Great Fairies."

"I get it." Kai said aloud. "Get the Fairies out of the picture first and cause some destruction without any hassle from them. These Shadows seem smarter, having some sort of intelligence."

"And that's what scares me." 'Z' jumps and sits back down on her bed, looking down. "Between you guys and myself, I haven't told my dad about this. I don't even think he knows. I've been hiding these reports from him so he doesn't go full protective mode and keep me all barred up in the castle like a damsel in distress. So...I need you guys to keep this whole thing to yourselves unless someone else speaks to you about it." Zelda looks towards the window. "I'd hate for the public to become so tense with fear and worry." She looks at the group before her. "You guys understand, right? Can you keep a secret? Please?"

Pixi looks towards Kai. "Kai?"

"Hmm..." Kai nods. "My Kokiri lips shall be sealed."

"Ditto." Pixi said.

The Sheikah could feel the resonance coming from the piece of the Relic that the Princess possessed, she could hear a faint echo inside her mind, the presence of the divine essence of the Goddess of Wisdom herself. Rabiyu slowly made her way towards the farthest wall away from the bed and leaned on it, the more distance she had between her and the Princess, the better.

"That is indeed worrisome," Kalifa said quietly, "if these "Shadows" possess some sort of intelligence, then we have to act fast before anything else happen."

The Zora turned to look at her quiet friend, she had the habit of staying away from people, perhaps thanks to her nature as a Sheikah.

"I agree to keep this information a secret, Princess, but is it really the best course of action?" she asked Zelda, "Sooner or later your subjects will realize that something is amiss, and in turn they will demand the action of their ruler, your father. If that happen then he will ask why you never bothered to share that information."

"We need to minimize the information for now, Kalifa. If we are to search and destroy these Shadows then it would be in our best interest that not many know of our mission," Rabiyu said flatly, "If more people know about it, then the more chances these Shadows have to learn about our objective."

"Z." Kai said to Kalifa, casually. "She said to call her Z. You kept calling her Princess."

"No, no. It's fine Kai. If she can't help but call me princess, it's fine with me." She smiles. "I can imagine the feeling of hearing someone at a royal tier to be called by the birth name."

Kai nods. "Alright. I understand."

Listening carefully, Raj rubbed his chin as he considered what Zelda was saying. The only thing that caused him to stir from his thoughtful pose was when Z showed the Tri-Force of Wisdom. A beautiful and beguiling piece of divine machinery. What he could do for his people if he only possessed it.

"The same thoughts of another Gerudo King?" He mused, bringing his mind back to the situation at hand.

The loss of contact with the Great Fairies was indeed worrying. If their power could be twisted for a dark purpose, the danger posed was considerable.

"Keeping things secrets from the people can prevent widespread panic, though I do suggest telling your father so he can prepare." Raj said finally. "But, I will hold my tongue."

"Yeah, yeah, I promise." Nox said, nosing around the room again.

Z smiles to the responses. "Thank you all." She starts walking towards her shelf. "My father is away at the moment though in another land. He's handling trade agreements, alliances, important meetings, royal stuff like that." Z touches the lamp and just leans it slightly. A loud sound can be heard as if something was opening. "Wh-What was that?" Kai asked.

"Come with me." Zelda then said. A kind smile can be seen on her face. "I'm letting you in on one more secret." Z then started walking towards the back of the room. On the left side of the wall, a giant passageway can be seen, large enough to even fit Raj through. Z looks back at the group, standing in front of the entrance. "Hurry! Before this thing closes back." She said before going forward.

~Z's Secret Room~

Inside this mysterious hallway, drips of water can be heard. The walls are made of stone with bits of moss growing from the cracks. Torches are lit down the halls with Z holding one herself as she's walking with the group.

"Where does this lead to?" Pixi asked.

"You'll find out soon~." Z said playfully.

"By the way...Nox, was it? I thought that the Twilight Realm was closed off in the past...Are you...Stuck here?" Z asked.

The secret passage caught Nox and Raj off guard at first, but the both recovered quickly. Both lived in palaces themselves who had similar passages, just in case. Considering the situation, Raj was honored that the young princess would take him into her confidence like this. Both the Gerudo Prince and the Twili Imp followed Z's call for hurry and entered the passageway. Raj though about questioning Zelda about the passage and if it led out, but those were indelicate questions for a ruler of another country to ask, even at this time.

Nox was walking along, eyeing the ceiling when Z spoke to her. Great. She didn't like explaining herself. It was so much easier to just break someone's bones to make them do the explaining.

"Yep, stuck here." The Imp said curtly.

She wanted to leave it at that, but she had a feeling she couldn't. She was on a mission, and someone with Triforce of Wisdom was an asset not to be ignored.

"The Queen of Twilight sent me here." She said reluctantly. "There is someone from this realm causing trouble in ours. I'm here till I find them."

Raj looked at Nox with surprise. He always suspected she had a hidden agenda, but hadn't guessed her to be on a royal mission.

Kalifa was surprised when Z opened a secret passageway, Hylians and their secrets, but she thought that a castle that big possessed more than one secret.
"Rabiyu, are you coming?" Kalifa asked, "We should hurry, lest we are left behind."
The Sheikah was looking directly towards the Zora, if what the Princess said was true then they had to move.
"Let us follow then," Rabiyu answered, "I will stay at the rear if you don't mind."
Both girls followed the group from behind. The Sheikah was following absentmindedly, the Zora was listening to what was being said.
"And to think there is a whole different realm out there," Kalifa said, "You must be someone important to be assigned that kind of mission from your queen, Nox,"
At that moment Rabiyu focused on what was going on in front of her, the topic sounded interesting.

Z turns her head back slightly. "From this realm?" Z said with a somewhat surprised tone in her voice. "Hmm...It could be possible that it would be caused by the shadows as well..." She then smiles. "Hopefully you guys can kill two birds in one stone."

(I'm sorry but I have become a very busy man forgive me. XD')

  • 2 weeks later...

Nox's jaw tightened at the comment from Kalifa. Talking about her mission had been a mistake. Outsiders didn't need to know the problems of the Twilight Realm. She should have kept to her instincts.

"No, just someone who could be trusted." The Imp replied tersely.

"Trusted not to be a blabber mouth." She thought angrily.

Z's observation matched up with what Nox had been thinking herself, but she wasn't about to give the little princess the satisfaction of admitting it, even if she possessed part of a glowing triangle.

"Things are rarely that convenient, Z." She said in a grumpy tone. "The world is a crisscross of tangled threads. They may touch, but that doesn't mean they are connected."

Raj considered Nox's words carefully. Also the tone. He had begun to wonder if this was some sort of trickery from the Imp, but he knew her tone of regretful defiance. She wasn't happy with her confession, which quieted his vague suspicions.

"Well, if that's the case, if you need help you only need to ask," Kalifa said while smiling, "We will gladly offer our assistance."
The Sheikah's attention was solely focused on the Twilight Imp and what she was saying, her words had double meaning, she was sure of that, after all, she had to do the same sometimes.
"Drop the subject, Kalifa," Rabiyu whispered in the Zora's ear once she got close enough, "It is not in our place to pry in business that are not our own."
Kalifa shivered at the proximity of the Sheikah, only because she didn't had the time to process the moment she got that close, and how quickly she moved away.
"Oh, uhm sure," the Zora said to Rabiyu, "Sorry about that."
How a journey to see the rest of Hyrule turned into this, now that was a strange question, one that could not be answered, yet. What the princess wanted was no simple task, at least that's what Rabiyu was thinking right now. The mortal incarnation of the White Goddess, holder of an essence of one of the Old Goddesses, the girl that the eastern Shadow Folk had to protect. It was a blessing that she wasn't born in the time her peolpe were hunting for the Hero, or the Princess. The current princess held some interest to the Sheikah/Yiga, if only by her informal behavior, and the fact that she possessed a fragment of the Relic.

Kai opened his mouth to say something to Nox, but Pixi flew in front of him and shook herself from left to right. Kai closed his mouth and nodded as he continued walking.

As the group was walking down this hidden hallway, they would reach the end and see what appears to be a old, red curtain with holes. Z walked up and opened the curtain. A wooden door with no knob can be seen now. She steps back and from her pocket, Z takes out a small yellow ocarina. She brings it up to her face and plays a song...It sounds like a lullaby. Kai found himself swaying back and forth to the song, though it was rather short. Once she was finished, sky-blue glowing runics can be seen on there. Raibiyu might be able to translate this. It says "Access: Approved" in ancient Shiekah text. The wooden door splits in two and slowly opens...

A room with the most unbelievable space inside is filled with tables, books, and artifacts. It would be similar to that of a labratory. But the main thing that stands out are the multiple stations that have different types of unusual...Technology.

"Kai, Rabiyu, Kalifa, Raj, Nox, and of course Pixi...Welcome to my Secret Royal Lab." Z said with a smile.

  • 2 weeks later...

Kalifa was surprised by the secret lab, very, very surprised.

"Wow, this is...amazing," she said while looking around, "never seen something like this in my life."

The Sheikah on the other hand was looking directly at the Princess.

"Your Highness, please forgive my bluntness, but I was under the assumption that no one should use the ancient technology, especially those from the royal family," Rabiyu said to Z, "I think the only one who still used that kind of technology was the Hylian Champion after he woke up."

It was hard to notice, but Rabiyu wasintrigued by the current situation.

Nox was too caught up in her self-recrimination to notice how the others were reacting to her, but Raj was watching carefully. He was particularly surprised when Pixi shushed Kai. Rabiyu's understanding was unsurprising, however. Raj often wondered how close the Twili and the Sheikah were in core values and culture. Both races tied to shadows. And both were too secretive to make a study easy. Still, worth thinking about.

The revelation of the lab pushed the Gerudo Prince's private musings away as he stood in awe at the artifacts he saw inside. The rulers of the Gerudo people down to him had been careful to claim and keep secret what ancient technology that they could, but their efforts apparently had not been as fruitful as the Hylain collection.

"Impressive." He breathed, looking at the wonders in the lab. "A wonderous collection, your highness."

Nox, still feeling sulky, looked at the stuff that filled the lab with little to no comprehension. She cocked her head to the side as she listened to Rabiyu's question of the technology's use.

"Out of the loop on this one." She admitted in a gruff tone. "This junk is dangerous?"

Kalifa looked at the Sheikah and nodded, her face had obvious signs of curiosity.

"I want to know as well," Kalifa said, "It is not often we get to see stuff like this."

Rabiyu stared at the Zore before slowly turning her head towards the Twili.

"They are not dangerous per se. You see, ever since the fall of the Kingdom of Hyrule at the hands of the Calamity, ancient Sheikah technology has been labeled as dangerous."

The Sheikah then began to walk from side to side while looking around the different artefacts.

"Only because the Calamity managed to turn the Guardians, the strange "statues" all over the land, and the Divine Beast against the Champions and the Kingdom," Rabiyu said calmly, "But that result was to be expected, if you take in consideration the fact that the Calamity learned to counterattack the Guardians and the Divine Beasts."

Kalifa kept watching the Sheikah, while at times looking around the room.

"That makes it seems that the ancient technology is indeed dangerous, Kalifa said, "maybe we should-"

Rabiyu raised her hand at the Zora's comment and shook her head.

"Then you have the other side. The Hylian Champion was saved from death by a piece of ancient technology, he also used another piece after he woke up," she said, "The Sheikah of the east, those who serve the royal family, abandoned the use of such technology. I am surprised that after what has happened in the past, the princess of Hyrule is using such technology if it was abandoned after the Calamity returned and turned the Guardians against those they were meant to protect."

Rabiyu then looked at the Twili, her face not giving sign of emotions.

"To answer your question, Nox. Yes, this "junk" is dangerous, in the wrong hands," Rabiyu said flatly, "but they can be a blessing in the right ones."

"Precisely." Z said in addition to Raibiyu's comment. "I've always had an interest when it came to ancient technology. It just fascinated me, and it bothered me as well." Z starts walking around her lab. She looks at some of the inventions. "This kind of material could be used to do so much more. Our society would advance a whole lot if we still used them to this day." Looking at what looks to be an arrow with a point made of Sheikah technology, Z looks up at the warriors. "One day while taking a 'royal stroll' with a few guards around me, I noticed a peculiar blue light shining on the ground. In broad daylight at that! It took my curiosity. I wanted to get a closer look then, but being a Princess, I can't wander off too far. So I did what I thought was the most reasonable thing to do...

Sneak out of the castle."

"Sneak out!?" Kai exclaimed aloud.

"At night." Z responded calmly.

"AT NIGHT!?" Pixi exclaimed.

"Now...With all due respect, Z, you know anybody, and I mean, ANYBODY could've kidnapped you, right?" Kai said.

Z however brushed it off. "Pfff. The one thing I'd rather kill myself over is being a damsel in distress. I can hold my own." She said confidently. "Besides...I bet I could flip you over."

Kai's eyebrows widen. "...Really?"

"Uh, yeah. Really."

Kai began walking to the Princess who was issuing a challenge. "Umm...I honestly don-"

"Ah-Ah!" Z said holding her hand out. "I know. Don't move." She said walking towards him. "So long story short..." Z then grabbed his arm. "I snuck out, found the piece of ancient tech..." She then lifted him and soon, Kai was going over her shoulder and slammed down on the ground on his back!

"YOUCH!"

Z dusted her hands. "And the rest is pretty much history."

Pixi commented: "If I only had hands, I would be clapping right now."

Kai responded weakly: "Of course you would..."

Z looked down.

"You alright?"

"....Never better."

Z grinned.

"You need a hand, don't you?"

"...Maybe."

Z chuckled and extends her hand towards the fallen Kokiri. Kai grabs it and is lifted back on his feet.

Nox listened carefully to Rabiyu's explanation. While she still wondered how this technology worked, she did understand the danger. The Twilight Realm housed many ancient magical artifacts that were both a boon and danger to the kingdom.

"So you have dangerous stuff that you try to use without out it going haywire." The Imp said, nodding. "At least that part feels like home."

Raj tore his attention away from the wondrous artifacts Z had collected to hear how she had come upon it. He bridled a little at Kai's objection to Z going out alone. As royalty himself, he understood the tight control prince and princesses had to endure. Royalty might have the power, but they were prisoners of their own station. He did smile slightly when Z flipped Kai over.

"How much have you been able to ascertain about it's purpose?" Raj asked, his eyes back on the ancient technology. "I would love to see any notes you have-"

"Oy!" Nox exclaimed, cutting Raj off. "Kingdom to save, remember?"

The Gerudo Prince gave his companion an annoyed look, but nodded.

"Of course." he said. "The quest must come first."

Kalifa was slightly surprised when she saw Z flip Kai over, surprised and impressed, Rabiyu was more surprised by the fact that the Kokiri boy tried to put the princess's skills to the test.
"Is that so?" Rabiyu said, taking notice of the small Twilight's comment, "In any case, yes, some people, like the princess here, possess such artifacts."
The Sheikah also noticed that the Gerudo prince was interested in the ancient artifacts. Her people back in the desert also possessed a large variety of artifacts and old texts regarding the use and construction of such items, but after the fall of the Calamity, and the Yiga, they chose to keep and eye for any signs of artifacts and ancient knowledge. The few survivors began to call themselves Sheikah once more after the defeat of Ganon, and instead of pursuing the Hero, they instead collected and preserved the knowledge of the past in a secret place in the middle of the desert were no one but them could find.
"I agree with Nox, Your Highness," Rabiyu said to Raj, "The safety of the kingdom of Hyrule comes first. We can discus the theories and applications of such items for the betterment of the Kingdom at a later date."
The Zora then looked between the princess and Kai.
"That looked painful," she said with a smile, "but now you know not to underestimate the princess Kai."

Kai gave Kalifa a glare as he straightened out his back. "Gee. You don't say..." He jabbed. Z couldn't help but giggle. As Rabiyu and Nox had stated, she remembered that the kingdom was in danger. "Oh right! Right! Sorry, I get a bit distracted with this kind of stuff." She nervously laughed while rubbing the back of her head. "Okay, back to business. Now..." Z begins to look both ways, left and right, and even up. "Wait, where is she?" She commented.

"...Right here." A mature, deeper, female voice can be heard from behind Kai. Two glowing red sets of eyes can be seen. Chills ran down Kai's spine as his face expressed a sense of fear. He jumps. "YIPE!" He turns around towards where the voice came from. Stepping out of the shadows was a tall woman. She had white hair with markings of red on her cheeks. She's wearing a black handkerchief over her mouth. The rest is traditional Sheikah clothing(Think Skyward Sword Young design).

"There you are! Guys, meet Impa. My personal guardian and teacher. Oh, and she's a Sheikah!" Z said.

"Teacher?" Kai questioned.

"If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be able to flip you."

"Ooohhhh....." Kai gulped.

Impa looks at Rabiyu and gives her a nod, then looks at the rest of the warriors as if she was studying them. "Odd diverse group to take the task, but advantages can be seen." She stated aloud.

"So, do you have the things?" Z asked, smiling brightly. Impa looks at Z. "Yes, I have the..." Z's eyebrows raise up and down twice while smiling. Impa closes her eyes. A sigh can be heard. "...Super duper secret invention...Of secrets." She sounds a bit annoyed while saying that, but Z is just giggling like it's Christmas day and she's getting everything she wanted. "I told you I would make you say it!" Z exclaimed. Impa sighs again. She reaches into her cloth and pulls out five medium sized...'Tablet' like objects obviously made from Sheikah technology.

Z Speaks: "So I'm guessing at some point, one of you guys or more might split up from the group for...Reasons. Which I must add, it's dangerous to go alone...So take these!"

Rabiyu slightly bowed at the newcomer after she came out from the shadows, Kalifa was very surprised by the fact that the Sheikah woman, this Impa, didn't made any sound or give any hint that she was there.
"Alright...that was a little unnerving to say the least," Kalifa whispered, mostly to herself, "but I soppose we were distracted by this hidden room."
"It is not that surprising Kalifa. The Shadow Folk could be standing on anyone's shadow and they wouldn't know unless they want to be noticed, just like now," Rabiyu said to the Zora soldier, "Wait in the shadows, that is our life."
The young woman wanted to keep the fact that the Sheikah tribe were meant to protect the Goddess's mortal incarnation, to keep her away from harm from the shadows, mostly because her people actually sided with the Calamity once upon a time, that was why Rabiyu, and her tribe, weren't interested in such a task, she could pretend that she cared about the well being of the princess, but her real feelings would have to be kept hidden while the other Sheikah, the one who actually protected the princess, was there. Kalifa was the first to take on of the strange tablets, she carefully flipped it and watched with complete interest.
"This looks like the artifacts that are in this room," Kalifa said, "what is the purpose of this artifact?"
Rabiyu on the other hand was looking at Impa after she took another one of the tablets.
"This looks like the one...interesting, very interesting. I have a question for you, Master Impa," she said,  While ancient technology is quite the mystery, even to these days, I can't help but notice the fact that you are in possession of an important quantity of the same device, is it possible that the Royal Family has the knowledge of how these devices were created and now are being mass produced?"

Hearing Rabiyu’s question, Impa responds: “The only Royal Family member who knows of these artifacts is in this very room.” Impa looks at Z, who is currently scratching her cheek with her finger, slightly looking away. “Yeah...Hence why the word “Secret” is in the name of this room. Buuut in a way, I’m not lying about it...” She shakes her head and her expression is back to being chipper. “But yeah! After I had found the shard, Impa was actually very knowledgable about this kind of stuff. So we worked together to create these! Although, we only have 6 of these at the moment.” Z said.
Kai walks up to Z. “How long does it take to make one?”
Z starts to answer, then puts her finger on her chin, thinking. “Ummm...”
“8 days.” Impa answered. “If we worked consistently, it would take 8 days for us now. Even with our current knowledge, we’re still learning how to experiment with its contents. For 9 more years would our first attempt be successful. And then those 9 years turned into 3 years, then 13 months, then so forth and so on.”

Kai walked up to Impa who handed him the next tablet. Kai looked at it curiously. “Wow...This really is ancient technology...Isn’t this similar to the tablet the Hero u-“ As Kai turned around, Z was right in front of his face. “YES!” Kai jumped. “What is it with you people sneaking up on me!?”
“Sorry. Anyways, I’ve done my research personally. In fact, it was the first thing I wanted to create with this technology!” She stated.
