I kind of want to see Vanitas pull a fast one on that old man. Out of all the lives Xehanort ruined, IMO, Vanitas suffered the most. Besides, his song was last on the KH Orchestra World Tour Heroes and Heroines: Character's Medley, which is very interesting that he's included, and a betrayal from him would be a cool twist!

That. Would. Be AMAZING!!!!! xD Now I'm hoping to see something like that happen!! xD

Also that's an interesting point given Vanitas's theme is included in the Character Medley. Ever since I heard that I've been thinking that Vanitas will eventually become an anti-hero, which I personally think would fit him.

While characters like Terra, Ven, and Riku have some ample reasons to be considered as deserving candidates for the final blow, I'm betting Sora due to his connection to everybody. A theme that keeps coming up is "my friends are my power". So Sora, representing everyone Xehanort has wronged and drawing on them for power, should take the final blow.
