I don't know much about EX banners but something tells me that the KH community sort of hates them .

 

I mean, kind of? EX medals are supposed to be rare, limited time deals that can really improve your game. They used to come maybe once a month at first (in the global version), so you had a bit of time to save up for the next one when it came out. More recently, however, the gap between EX banners has been shrinking, and there's less time to save (on top of the fact that they are not guaranteed medals). Then they chose to give us 6 EX deals for Black Friday (without the reduced cost VIP deal they offered last year), each with a 20-pull "mercy" (meaning that if you spend your in-game cash on the banner 20 times, you're guaranteed to get the medal; 20 pulls is the equivalent of just over $200 worth of in-game cash). So yeah, it feels like they're just throwing these at us expecting us to spend actual money on their game.

 

Also, one of the banners in that video ended yesterday and a new one just took its place today. No one has any money left. It's like having one side surrender, then dropping a nuke on them anyway.

And this is why I am never, EVER touching Unchained X/Union X and any other mobile phone game in general. It's because of these dumb microtransactions and loot boxes. I honestly wish you could just buy all these EX banner medals with just the in-game currency from farming them on enemies like in the main console KH games. Spending over $100.00 for this kind of stuff seems dumb to me and just not worth it. Heck, I remember when TheGamersJoint made a video about how he spent that amount of money on the game and regretted it.

Does a lot of things. You gain a big boost in STR and DEF, fills you 5 gauges, enemy countdown gets a +1 also the enemy takes a lot of damage.
