So, I’m finally playing Final Mix on my ps4, doing my old trick in never land hitting the rare truffles. When suddenly I suck at it (and I’ve done it for years now), and Sora just keeps knocking him further away..... it’s quite frustrating and I can only imagine it’s because of the 60fps. Anyone got any tips?

Doing it at the one in Halloween Town get one close to a corner (Preferably the one on the left side of the water close to the shortcut back to the main square) and just keep hitting it, if you have Aeroaga that could help as well. 

Really!? I did it a few weeks ago on Neverland as well and it worked out pretty well! After you hit it you do have to move Sora a little bit closer or he'll miss it (I think it's due to 60fps) but it's pretty much the usual, just keep it away from the deck and it will be fine. Also, aeroga doesn't work very well here and when you hit for the first time you already need to be flying. Good luck!

Oh, I also had problems with the Rare Truffle! I never really was able to land that many hits on it. I would cast Aeroga on myself and hack away as best as I could!

Found out what I was doing! I was trying to time my movement and swings together. Instead it was more like, swing move swing move in a rhythmic pattern. Needless to say I can kill hundreds of them again thanks a lot, everyone!

 

(Funny titbit, I killed my first one there on the PS4 after making this post. Asking for help always tends to make me get it the first shot afterwards lol).

 

I’ve never even tried for the black fungus or pink agaricus rare items, mainly cause besides being able to show off there wasn’t any point for that mich work.
