1. Good guy (no matter how experienced) blindly charges at random Xehanort incarnation, Maleficent, etc.
2. Random Xehanort incarnation, Maleficent, etc., gets an easy opening to just counter with magic, teleport out of the way, etc.
3. Good guy ends up looking like a complete dumb@$$.
It's hard to take these in-cutscene fights seriously whenever blatant railroading like that happens.
P.S.: Credit where it's due -- at least 3D finally let Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Lea be more pragmatic (and thus more believable) in the Where Nothing Gathers part at the end.
Another recurring flaw I've noticed:
