Ready Player Tu. (A Ready Player One Role-play Sequel.). (SPOILERS for those that haven't read the book and/or seen the film.).

"It is the year 4050, exactly five years have passed since the events of the film and now the OASIS, after five long years, is starting to suffer its first malfunctions of which will eventually lead to its overall online shutdown, if that were to occur, people in real life who depend solely on the OASIS like they would on drugs for example would go into mental breakdowns and uncontrollable rages, hurting anyone and everyone that they catch, as so much in the blink of their eyes.

 

Despite the High Five's previous attempts to stop players from solely depending on the OASIS, only the reverse has happened and now the group that manages the OASIS entirely now find themselves starting to drift from one another, especially including both Parzival/Wade and Art3mis/Samantha, in an attempt to right the wrongs of what he personally perceives, as his mistakes and his mistakes alone, Parzival/Wade looks into an old online rumour left behind in the OASIS, saying that back in its very early days when the online system first booted up, Anorak/Halliday, the co creator of the OASIS was said to have left behind a core reboot program that would restart the OASIS entirely and erase it of all of its current present day viruses and glitches, hoping this would bring both him and his friends back together, Parzival/Wade searches for the reboot program dubbed "Halliday's Next Dime", the program would restore all functionality to the OASIS and would reboot the entire system, as the "OASIS Mark Tu.0" according to the rumour Parzival/Wade hears about Halliday's Next Dime.

 

However, there are those that would seek to permanently shut down the OASIS, on accounts of it being unhealthy for the players always signing into it and never logging out, the Curator/Ogden Morrow, Halliday's partner in creating the original OASIS program and once both ally and friend to the High Five creates a group whose sole purpose is to shut down the OASIS both completely and utterly once and for all time, the group's name in the real world is the "Health and Social Benefactors of Reality" whereas on the OASIS they are referred to, as simply the "H.S.B.R" and among their ranks, revealed to have joined them is Art3mis/Samantha, who reveals that she shares Morrow's opinion about the OASIS becoming too out of hand now for the High Five to handle and thus the servers need to all be shut down or it could lead to consequences, the scales of magnitudes that not even Parzival/Wade can foresee, nevertheless, believing in what he believes to be both right and true, Parzival/Wade is trying to give the OASIS a second chance at redemption and will oppose both anyone and everyone that would disagree with him, thus friends both old and new, even enemies from the past find themselves on opposing sides, as what is referred to, as the "World Cyber War" for the OASIS begins...

 

Meanwhile, entirely new players start logging in onto the OASIS after hearing good things about it, unaware of the conflict that was about to begin for everyone on the online servers, one of them being Morrow's young 18 year old nephew named "Kyle Morgan", known simply on the OASIS, as "Kaine", Kaine hears about the rumours of Halliday's Next Dime and decides to go hunting for it, believing it to be one of the OASIS' fabled Easter Eggs, accompanying him is a former player of the OASIS named i-R0k, now using a new avatar named "Re:venge", at first, Kaine naively trusts Re:venge, not knowing that he has a more sinister ambition in mind, to take revenge itself on both Morrow's H.S.B.R and Parzival/Wade's own faction, the rebels that fight against the H.S.B.R for control of the OASIS known simply, as "Anorak's Army", how he currently intends to go about this is unknown, for the moment, he simply travels with Kaine and other companions that remain neutral to the war between both the H.S.B.R and Anorak's Army, as each and every single player searches for the rumoured Halliday's Next Dime, also referred to, as "Halliday's Last Dime" in accordance to the Cyber War going on between both the H.S.B.R and Anorak's Army, for, as far, as both anyone and everyone currently knows...they may just very well see the end of the OASIS...one way, or another...

 

Get ready players, start your engines, for now begins the 2nd lap, of the OASIS!

Please stay true to the mythos and elements of the original Ready Player One film and if in extension the book.

 

The RP is entirely pop culture based so you can have characters that can create avatars on nearly everything and/or everyone that has existed throughout the ages.

This feels like really bad fanfiction for many reasons, most of which being how characters are acting according to you. Wade learned to accept the world outside the Oasis at the end, Ogden Morrow was always on the side of the Oasis, and Halliday doubtfully would have put two Easter Eggs to find in, considering he was only counting on the actual Egg to begin with.

Well i saw the film and i imagined what the Sequel would be like if the OASIS was starting to glitch and the High Five were starting to fall apart trying to keep it all together, what should i change and what should i keep?
