1000 years before the Kingdom Hearts saga began, a group of Keyblade warriors are sent on a mission from their master. Supposedly, dark Keyblade warriors are gathering on a barren wasteland of a world, preparing for an all-out assault. It is up to this group of warriors of Light to stop them. However, when they arrive, they discover just how massive this battle will be. As they uncover the true meaning behind their mission, as well as the danger the universe could be in, the warriors of light must battle desperately against the dark Keyblade warriors to keep the worlds safe from a mysterious weapon they hope to forge...

 

In the end, not a single soul left, what would become the Keyblade Graveyard, alive.

 

Yeah, I kind of got this idea from playing Halo: Reach, but I want to follow the basic knowledge of the Keyblade War that was presented in BBS.

 

Rules

 

1. No godmodding. Your characters aren't invincible, and they will get hurt eventually.

Quentin noded, Lira enterred a portal and dissapeared.

'I hope she'll be alright.' Quentin then proceed to slice a rock in halves.

 

(Meanwhile in The land of departure.)

This has gone on for weeks, we need to send in more apprentices if we hope to claim the X-blade. The other's aggreed with Venique. A dark man slowly enterred.

"Thee X-blade's power is imense, it must be ours." Xant smiled, he then contacted Yuto.

"More weilder's are gonna be sent to the wasteland." He said speeking into a strange device.

Lira rode her runner at full speed.She just wanted to see how bad this war was going.After a few moments she gets a sight of the world.She revs up her runner and goes towards it.She lands in a spot where no one could have noticed her presence.Her runner turned back into her keyblade,but she didn't minded to turn off her armour.She went and heard the yells and wepons clash.She runs over and gets to a clift.Her eyes widen.Hundreds,maybe thousands of keyblade wielders were fighting and killing each other.She saw as on of them got killed and his keyblade was all that was left of him.Lira was out of words.

"...She's been gone for hours, maybe I should check on her?" quentin sighed, yoda returned to Joe and Yu leaving Quentin alone, he summoned his rider and headed towards the wasteland, he slowly landed on a large cliff, he saw a familiar keyblade... Richards' keyblade stabbed into the ground, his fonal testimant to the war, Quentin couldn't face it and saw someone familiar on another cliff. Lira, she seemed really bothered from all the fighting, Quentin just tried not to think about it. He flew over too her.

"Lira... you alright?"

Lira looked back at him."Not really..."Lira says.She looks back upfront."More wielders die each minute.Can't they see that the darkness is taking over?Are they just so dumb that they've forgotten the true porpuse of the keyblade?"Lira asks.She looks down."I wish I could help...I wish I could stop this..."Lira says.The war was getting more violent by the second.Every minute was the last minute of life for another keyblade weilder.She just couldn't take it.She tried to ignore the yells of pain that came from the field of battle.

Yuto was walking in a ruin Hollow Bastion.'' I see that i won the battle of Hollow Bastion. The world army isn't going to win this war. I see the keybladers are battleing at the Waselands.''said Yuto as about 15 soldiers from Twilight Town tryed to attack Yuto from behind.'' This is for the people who you killed!''yelled the soldiers as they tryed to attack with their swords. Darkness then killed them.'' Master. I've killed the remaining rebel army from Twilight Town. We'll going to win this war no matter what.''said a Pain.'' Yes. Go dark Pain. Killed the rest of the people at Holloween Town.''said Yuto as he heard a phone ring.'' What is it.''said Yuto.

Quentin felt sorry for his friend.

"Lira... we will stop this, we're growing stronger, and soon we'll end this conflict." Quentin said. She looked away, unsure.

"You're not useless, your strong, brave, and smart. You just gotta believe in your heart." Quentin said, she stared at him for a moment, then looked away. He looked at the conflict, it seemed like an equal battle.

"Atleast... that's what Richard told me... to believe in myself." Quentin said, he saw Lira staring at the battles.

"Lira... why do you do this to yourself, it's not your fault?"

Lira looked away from the war and satted down."I don't know...ever since I got seperated by Kira,every single enegy of darkness has been messing up with me.I imagened that it was because I'm light and that I can be very sensible to the darkness.But...things have gotten more dangerous.The worlds have gotten darker.I feel that all of this weight of darkness and negative emotions is falling over me.I can't explain it."Lira says.She looks at the battle field."I just feel like if I have to do something or else everything will fall appart soon..."Lira says.She looks down.So much negativity was going on in the world that it was making her dizzy.

'She is struggling so much...is this world affecting her that much?'

'I wanna help her, but she won't listen.' Quentin breathed slowly.

"Lira... nobody's making you do anything, you still have a choice to go through with this. This war... it'll tear us all apart, but only if we let it. Richard may of said we will die either way... but I believe in making my own destiny, you should too." Quentin said looking high in the sky. He breathed deeply, it started to grow dark, and the kingdom heart up there seemed as bright as ever. The keyblade knights seemed to have stopped for the moment, they all turned back, to fight again in the morning.

Quentin looked towards Lira who was still in thought. he was iluminated by the light from the kingdom heart.

"It will always be your choice Lira, that is the one thing they cannot take away from you." Quentin said, she looked up.

"It feel like Yuto on the move, now what Lira and Quentin are gone....I'll just go by myself". Yu walk away into a corridor of darkness. "How can hollow bastion look like this, this was Yuto doing." So is he here right? "I'll take a look over here.Yu saw Yuto on the phone. "Who is he talking to, I can hear anything. "On the behalf of my master and on behalf of Lira I will kill you Yuto and take the X~blade. "Yuto get ready for a real battIe cause I'm not leting you go, this will be the end of you.

Lira looked at Quentin and then looked down.She smiled a bit and looked at Quentin."Yeah...you're right...I'm sorry.I shouldn't have worried you like that.I guess I was a bit to fed up with the war I forgot what's most important."Lira says.She stands up and goes over to Quentin."Thank you for helping me to see the thruth again."Lira says while smiling her sweetest smile.She looks around.After hours of battle,the field was finally quiet.She looked at Quentin."Can...we go back now?I need to get back on track and start training."Lira says.

He lked her smile, it was pretty. He nodded.

"Yeah, we better go before they find us here." Quentin said, he activated his rider, and his armor, Lira did the same. He activated a portal and they left the barren wasteland... which seemed more like a graveyard right now. They returned to Dagobah. Yoda seemed annoyed.

"First you leave, then Yu leaves, then you return and then-"

"Yoda, we would like to continue our training." Quentin said, Yoda nodded amd walked out of the hutt. Quentin and Lira followed next to eachother.

"Joseph is busy training, learns quickly he does." Yoda said. Quentin agreed, he then looked to Lira, she seemed less pale and sad.

"I'm glad your doing better." Quentin smiled.

Lira looked ta him and smiled."Thanks to you.I'm not that sad anymore.You showed me the real thruth."Lira says smiling.She looks down and blushes a bit.She thinks."( 'In a land where no life is there to live.A heart of light and a heart of darkness will unite.And a keyblade will be forged.The news of this keyblade will reach to the ears of the wielders.And these weilders will come from around the universe,to claim the keyblade as theirs.The will fight and only one will survive long enough to claim the keyblade.To claim Kingdom Hearts.' That's what the book said.I can't belive it was all real.)"Lira thinks.

"I.. didn't show you anything, I just told you it's your choice." Quentin said blushing, she smiled at him and they continued to follow Yoda. They reached the cave, and then took a sharp turn right into the brush. Yoda then stood on a stump.

"Quentin, lend her the lightsaber you found." Yoda said, Quentin slowly handed Lira one of the lightsabers.

"What do we need these for, master?" Quentin asked, Yoda grumbled.

"A jedi's choice of weapon, the lightsaber is. It is not dense like a keyblade." Yoda said, Quentin kept listenning.

"You must learn to weild it efficiently, use them to clear the brush, and don;t hurt yourelf." yoda said, staring at Lira.

"...Okay?" Quentin said activating the weapon.

Lira activated her weapon.She steared at it for a while."O...K...this shouldn't be that hard,right?"Lira asks.She looks around."(When nightfall and sunrise unite as one,they make sunset.When light and darkness unite,they make twilight.What does it all mean?Is the X-blade more than just a key to Kingdom Hearts?Nah,that cannot be possible,can it?)"Lira thinks."Lira!Concentrate,you must."Yoda says.Lira came back to reality and got out of her thought."Oh!Sorry,well,let's go Quentin."Lira says.

Quentin started slashing at the brush and Lira did the same, they started making a new pathway, they kept going until they cleared fifty yards of brush, Quentin and Lira then understood the complexities of the lightsaber, the only weight was in the hilt, so they could just as easily cut off a limb, when trying to do so on someone else. Yoda nodded and walked away, Lira handed Quentin back his lightsaber. They started on they're way to the hutt, they walked by Joe who seemed to be smiling as he picked up and object.

"So... what was it lke... to be a part of Kira, I meant?"

Lira looked at him.She looked down."It was like being a prisioner of your own body.Being able to see everything that you do,but not being able to control your actions.Not being able to speak your own expressions.Like if you were in a cage with the only thing surrounding you was darkness.It wasn't the bestest place in the world.But I didn't had a choice.When I got seperated from her,I felt so happy,so free.I was finally in command.I was finally me."Lira says looking down.

"Good for you, now you have control, and you can be yourself." Quentin said, she nodded, blushing. They finally got to the hutt,

'I'm glad for her, she was opressed by her darkness, but now because of Joe, she's here, with us. I should thank him.' He looked her deeply into her eye. they sat down there and looked out at the stars. A star didn't go out this time, Quentin felt happy, she seemed beutiful when she was at peace with herself. The slowly grew closer.

"Lira... remember what I told you?" Quentin asked. he was thinking back to when Kira said she was the spy.

Lira looked at him and blushed."Y-yeah..."Lira says.She looked down and tried to hide the blush.She looked up at the stars and closed her eyes."(Light...Dark...Twilight...)"Lira thinks.Her senses sharpen and she feels the light going around the worlds.Some worlds that were starting to be covered in darkness were being covered in light again.Lira smiled.She looked at Quentin and blushed even more."(Why can't I stop blushing?!)"Lira thinks.

her cheeks were really red. She was blushing madly. She looked away and up towards the stars.

'She's so beautiful when she's embarrassed.' She looked at him again and smled.

'I don't want her to be alone again. I wanna be there for her... always.'

"I've heard you mumble in your sleep." Quentin said, she looked at him.

"You dream... of Kira taking control... don't you?" Quentin asked, she slowly nodded.

"That will never happen, as long a I'm here." Quentin said, he slowly kissed her.

Yuto finished on the phone.'' Guess my troops were killed in the northside of this world. Guess I'll go and check on the... Hello Yu. Don't know why your here, But if you think you can kill me then your welcome to try since i got stronger thanks to the fall of this world.''said Yuto as darkness started to form around him.'' You see. Everytime a world falls to my army i get stronger. As we speak. My army is moving to the world where Lira and Quentin are.''said Yuto.

Lira blushed even harder and redder.(If it was possible).She just stood there for a few moments and then kissed back.After a few moments the kissed ended.She looked at him."(Wow...)"Lira thinks.She smiles and rests her head on his shoulder."Each star is a world.I sense that the worlds that are being corrupted by the darkness are fighting back.That's good."Lira says.Her blush was starting to fade away,but there was still a slight pink color on her cheeks.

"Yeah, it's great." Quentin said, her head leaned on his shoulder, they stayed like this for a moment until she slowly fell asleep. Quentin gently picked her up and setted her on a clean mat in the Hut, he planted a small kiss on her cheek and sat there. she didn't seem to have aa nightmare this time... she seemed at peace. Quentin slowly sat on the Sofa and fell asleep. He had a strange dream that reminded him of his past failures, he then saw something, Kane.

"Hello there Quentin." He said.

"I know I died, but you need to know something, a heartless invasion is coming down on Dagobah, in three days." Kane said, Quentin nodded.

"Alright...Kane." He said, the dream slowly ended. And he woke up, Lira was still asleep on the mat, she was smiling.

Lira was dreaming.

 

She was at the islands.She was sitting in the sand by the beach.She smelled the salty air and sighs.She layed back down and felt the sun touch her skin."This is how I want for the worlds to be,in peace."Lira says.Then she feels being splashed by water.She stood up only to find her little sister laughing."Hey!"Lira says as she stands up.Then she hears someone yell her name.She looks back to see Yu,Quentin,Joe and Richard swimming in the ocean."How did they got there?"Lira asks.She laughs a bit and looks up."Obvious of course.It's just a dream."Lira says.

 

Lira wakes up.She sits up and sees Quentin.

Yoda walked in, Joe followed.

"Yoda, the heartless are gonna come to dagobah." Quentin said.

"Had a feeling of this... I did." Yoda said, Lira woke up, and Quentin told her what hapenned.

"Master, what do we do?" Quentn asked, Yoda looked away.

'Why is he always in thought?'

"... We continue your training." Yoda said, Quentin somehow expected this.

Lira looked at Quentin.They followed Joda and started to train.They started by lifting up heavy rocks.Quentin lifted it in just a few moments.But Lira,who hadn't practiced much,had a hard time trying to do it.She concentrated.She got to lifted it just a little bit.But then she lost focus and it fell again."Concentrate.You must."Yoda says.Lira nods and concentrates.She swoly starts to lift it until she gets the hang of it.
