July 10, 20187 yr Before you get this, get DMC4 too. Otherwise you won't know who the short-haired guy with the robot arm is. Also, the timeline jumps around a bit between the games, and it has an anime. IIRC, it goes 3, 1, anime, 4, 2, with 5 coming either between 4 and 2, or after 2. Oh, and stay away from DmC, as that was a failed reboot done by Ninja Theory. Gameplay is fine, but story and characters are blech. I'd rather have a charismatic quipping Dante, then a moody, angsty, foul-mouthed teen rebel Dante. So far, only one I haven't played is 2, though I heard (with the exception of the reboot) that it is the worst Devil May Cry game, though 4 is the best. If you do end up getting 4, get the remastered version, as it has extra content featuring Lady, Trish, and Vergil. Edited July 10, 20187 yr by Azure Flame
