After launching in the Japanese version of Union Cross, the Version 3.0.0 update is now set to arrive to the global version of the game with the conclusion of maintenance.

About χ3[ex tres] Mode: This mode can be accessed from the title screen. Main features include the Community chatrooms and the Classic Kingdom minigames! 

With Communities, you can create or join chatrooms to chat with players of all Unions.

 

Minigames included in Classic Kingdom are:

　- GIANTLAND

　- THE MUSICAL FARMER

　- THE KARNIVAL KID

　- THE BARNYARD BATTLE

　- FISHIN' FRENZY

For the Limited Challenge, reach a certain score in these games to obtain a product code for the Starlight Keyblade for KH3--note that scores for this campaign are cumulative (you do not need to achieve the set highscores in one attempt), and that the code, once unlocked, will be sent at a later date.

 

Until September 16th at 23:59 PT, a Bonus Jewels Campaign will be in effect:

For this campaign, Munny costs are halved and medal synthesis EXP is doubled as well.

I've got to say the way Nomura decided to spell 'Extras' as 'X3' is almost as convoluted as the plot of KH

Well, all keyblades are technically skins. But yeah, it looks like a separate style, not just a re-skin.

 

Also, as a warning to anyone just logging in: THE GUILT CAMPAIGN IS NOT ACTIVE. There's an error that they say they're "looking into" but right now it's just same old, same old. (Weirdly enough, the jewel campaign is active...)

 

EDIT: I don't recommend pulling on this Ava banner. Like, at all. It may be a 10-mercy, but it's around for a while, and who even has enough jewels right now? In addition to that, the other 4 Foretellers are coming soon.

As a medal, it's not bad, but it's an overwrite medal with AOE multipliers. If you have Kairi EX+, you already get most of these buffs/debuffs anyway. The AOE multiplier means you're doing less damage than something like Sora and Simba or Bob and Jack-Jack (if you got them). Overall, I'd say pass unless you really want it (or one of the other Foretellers).

Also, what's up with the reused animations? The Foreteller medals from last year had such cool and unique animations!
