Hey there, i have a question.... Well, since i came second in the school for the ASX games (some weird school stock market game thingy i have no idea about), Miss Shakespeare (a random social science teacher) is going to ask me what my strategy was, in front of the whole school, and my strategy was, i picked whatever had funny names and then i lost my password the week after i got it

 

OK, so the question is, how do i make that sound smart?? GO (before you say it, yes, i know it was a fail)

 

Also does this sound horribly dumb to u guys as well, or is it just me

Pull out the thesaurus and replace all the normal words with complicated SAT worthy words.

 

Big words make you sound smart all the time, even if what your talking about is stupid.

He was part of some competition that was supposed to be hard (just a guess) and he did extremely well and the teachers want him to speak in front of the school/class on how he did it.

 

The problem is, he just picked the choices that had funny names and he is going to have trouble explaining that to everyone without sounding stupid.

Well, I recomend admitting that you chose the funnier names. People may think you're joking, and if you're lucky they might laugh?

Yeah, i probably should have said before that i have horrible stage fright, like when i was in year 6 my stage fright just came over me when i was doing a speech for captaincy (i got vice captain still, so ) and i just had to walk off stage, so i'm kinda freaked out about going on stage, even if it's only for a minute, and the whole stage fright has been happening for years, i actually froze once in my speech for school in english, and it was worth 20%, so i have a bad case of stage fright, and i don't want to look dumb....

 

And yeah, it was meant to be hard, it was an Australia-wide stock market kind of challenge,which i don't get because i'm not the best at maths (i get band 5's in my tests, but i still don't get what's going on..... stupid calculus)
