Anyone out there know how to beat the Crimson Prankster Timed Challenge? (Any help on the timed/avoid damage Leechgrave challenges and Ruler of the Sky timed challenge would be appreciated as well! I'm so close to getting 255 sigils!)

I'm having trouble with this too. I only have fire magic so I've had to go repeat missions like crazy to find the stuff to make others.

Alright, for defeating the Crimson Pranksters in the given time, here is what I would suggest doing.

 

What I did was equipped the Zero Gear with all sight panels. Normally you could use magic, but as seeing you can't deal full damage to them with each cast, it is pointless to do so, however, if you feel like you want to, I would suggest using some sort of Ice magic, as it deals the most damage, perhaps Blizzara or Blizzaga. But, considering that attacking would deal more damage, I would suggest using Zero Gear with either all sight panels or all strength, and using either the Witch's Chaos (The Elemental Curse ability that comes with it isn't even a big deal at all, it rarely gives you trouble, but sometimes it does.) or the Critical Sun accessory based on whether or not you are aiming for strength or critical hits, personally though, looking back on it, a consistent attack would be more preferable then having a high percentage chance of dealing a high attack.

 

What you should do is generally attack one of them for a period of time, but if one is using its flamethrower attack or its spiny fire attack, you can attack the other one. Just get one down to around a little less than half of their final bar of HP, then drain down the other one's HP. It is absolutely critical to make sure that when they are both about to be killed off that you have them at a point where you can easily kill them, because if you don't kill the second one quick enough, it will revive the other, but the revived one will have the same amount of HP as the one that revived it.

Awesome it only took me a minute and a bunch of limit recharger things but I beat this and the Ruler Of the Sky. Magic didn't really work well on him.
