Hey, just wanna ask,

Is it possible to buy swimwear for a friend as a gift (e.g. birthday gift)?

Normally when I buy swimwear for my friend as a gift:
For female friends - one piece swimsuit
For male friends - beach/board shorts
And also include diving mask

I don't buy bikini for my female friends due to too revealing. And they are bought from the sports store (e.g. Decathlon, Sports Direct)

    To your question of course you can buy a swimsuit as a gift. I guess you worry that she could get the wron idea right?well of course that differs from person to person but if you know her well and she knows you well it should be fine

    I think it depends on a lot of things (culture, how well you know them, et cetera) but personally I would not do it.  I think a swimsuit is too personal of an item to be purchasing for a girl, especially if you are of the opposite gender.  Maybe a gift card so that this person could purchase their own swimwear?
