joking asside but how far is the game in development at this time

remembering that the engine used for kh4 is just a newer unreal engine which an earlier was used for 3

If we got the announcement in 2019, then not even close we probably seen a release on 2029

But seeing sora, almost real life is just music to my eyes

i mean a lot of kh3's development was literally moving a lot of the assets and working with unreal engine 4 if i'm not mistaken

just compare kh3 to kh4 first trailers

the kh3 first trailer obviously looks like an alpha build

while the kh4 trailer except for the placeholder hud text EX thign

seems like they got the physics down

But the alpha looked so good tho and I’d like to see the moving ui

I hope they add flowmotion and wall running to 4

it also seems like they at the point of the trailer had 0 worlds made

Nah I think the game is mostly gonna take place in quadratum

without world traversing it literally isn't Kingdom hearts

the world with the forest area i think is form star wars by the map design being similar to a star wars location in the franchise and from those games and the brief frame where you could see a trooper foot

it'd be like making a Zelda game where you can't get a sword or shield

Nomura even said that there focusing on less Disney worlds

i wonder if final fantasy characters will be more prominent in kh4?

But I did see some of the characters in ddd

I kinda want to see more Squeenix characters in KH besides FF and TWEWY

heck it would be fitting if the ff7 cast would make an apperence in that game considering it could be like a promotion or tease for people to buy the ff7 remake
