Lions only have fluff on tips of their tails and manes, but not on their body

And because of Sora's association with lions, and with the fact he was originally going to be a lion hybrid, not many people associate Sora with more canine animals, but more feline animals

But why is that?

Dogs are generally more energetic and friendlier with people. They’re also the most common support animals and Sora is the beacon of hope in the series.

But if that is the case

Why do people associate Sora with cats more than dogs?
