Ancient history

Oh god I feel like a geezer remembering this joke

it actually exists? never saw it ingame :V

I feel like a missed opportunity to include Skuld in Union X Back Cover, and who could easily voice her.

LADIES, GENTLEMEN, AND HEATLESS ALIKE.

I HAVE FINISHED VANITAS.

Am I the only one who was disappointed that kh3 did not had 99 save slots ?

And 0.2

Probably has something to do with the transition to unreal engine 4

Or customisation from 0.2 in kh3

There should be at least some sort of warriors game for kh. Like come on imagine it

It would fit so well

Right ? I really enjoyed the kh2 1000 heartless battle.

And imagine a full game of that with different playable characters

Maybe even some ff and twewy content

Wouldn't it be awesome to have Minamimoto as a boss fight ?

I really didn't liked the combat in kh3. It shouldn't been like in kh2. But maybe a little more mixed, you know ? It little bit faster ? The combos were really slow sometimes

I just think KH should go back to the command deck. It’s an intuitive system with lots of room for depth.

Or they could make a game that's like similar to re:coded. You know each world had a different combat system. Imagine we could have a turn based rpg world, a chain of memories combat system world, command deck system world, dream eaters world and so on

I would be down for that

That’s the magic of KH: my appreciation for the games grows every time I play them

I find more stuff to love, more tidbits I didn’t know, new angles on characters that I didn’t consider before…

Except KH2 Atlantica. I always find new reasons to hate it.

hot take kingdom hearts 1 combat sucked even back when it was first released

ik it was 2002

but, seriously they couldn't have made the combat a little bit faster?

you could argue it was an "Early 3d game"

but, i would say bruh mario 64 was released in 1996 that kinda made the standard for controls in a 3d space

kingdom hearts 1 got released 5 years after

to me it was just a tiny bit too slow

also attack combos are kinda shit

when you compare it to magic

True i suppose

this was kinda their first true big 3d game with such controls

and kingdom hearts 1 was a rather more flatform heavy game

and faster controls platforming would've been to slippery

heck the physics engine wouldn't work that well with faster gameplay

you can see it with the rom hack being critical mix

which speeds up sora

however, it also makes movement more clunky as a result

the controls in mario 64 itself is fine its just the camera that is a bit outdated

KH wasn't going for a "hack and slash" (for lack of a better term) style, like KH2 did, with the whacky combos and stuff

I'm not gonna pretend it's like "more methodical" or something, but, it was a game where you could wipe everything out quick but, it had a lot of different ways you could, besides just gliding around and pressing thundaga once lol
