Kh2 replica town
A full replica town filled with people and events that mimic actual real life which is a huge feat in of itself
so what Ansem is able to do is very impressive

He also inserted himself into sora

gotta keep that foresight when your apprentice goes out and opens pandora's box into the world

In KH2? yeah that was really good

Ye the writing in that was really strong

as is with most of KH2 haha
really good at the start and at the end but ehhhh in the middle

unlike Days and DDD which have good scenes all across through the games
Albeit they aren't seen that way but looking back on them they really do

If Days had a better mission and combat system, it would legit probably be my favorite KH game

a lot of these games being on handhelds really killed potential for them to be something more

BBS I think is the biggest offender of that, because that one more than the others has a looot more to it gameplay wise

DDD especially feels amazing on PS4 even knowing it is a handheld

or rather was

idk how the firetruck i played that on 3ds

ive always enjoyed handheld JRPGs. i love that i can just pick up and play and then pause when i want

but man DDD was just ❤️

Days needs that treatment

i do too, but i think games like alliance alive or radiant historia fit that mold more

i don't think action rpgs work well on handhelds

the fact that 358 is at least decent on the DS

is a pretty wild feat

guess that's where ReCoded feels cool cause of how it changes things up each world

where it becomes your call if you like it or not

recoded's gameplay is legit better than days, bbs and ddd

which is firetrucking funny

see I don't really like coded's gameplay a crazy amount

but it's progression system was a lot of fun

The one issue I can see with recoded, but never bothered me personally

is how often it shifts gameplay genres

yeah it's a little weird

Like some games do it fine, nier automata for example

But when you're limited to the ds and your game and there is no semblance of those different genres in base gameplay, it's a little offputting

especially when the whole world stays that style

like Olympus

I didn't like olympus

but i just don't like turn based so im biased

if all the worlds were like traverse town, it'd be far better I think

So, does anyone still hate Dream Drop Distance? Because I love that game, but I know that it's not liked that much by the fandom cuz of the time travel element that's introduced.
