There is a "help thread" for this sort of stuff but anyways after you beat the final episode when given the option of where to land in the keyblade graveyard, select the badlands (this applies for any character). You will see a pulsing darkness with a picture of a broken gear on it, go to it and from here it is very self explanatory.

You have to beat the "Final Episode" before you can fight Vanitas Remnant. When you've done that go back to the Keyblade Graveyard with any character and choose to land in the "Badlands".

You have to first beat Terra, Aqua, and Ven's story lines. Then after that you should be able to unlock the Final Episode. Then when you have beaten the Final Episode then that should also unlock the secret boss known as Vanitas remnent.

Well i call the secret boss Vanitas' lingering spirit.

So what? That doesn't help him.

You have to beat the Last Episode and then go to the Badlands and then you'll be able to battle Vanitas' Remnant
