its been a 1000 years since the last of the keybladers disappeared from time itself and now there is only a small number of people who even know what the keyblade is but since the worlds are at peace no keyblade masters are needed but now there is a sense of darkness returning and its time for the keyblade to return and the choosen few to find the only men and women who know the truth about the keyblade and find them before the darkness does so they can save the worlds

Cronus lunged towards Hades who created a wall of fire. It surrounded him. Cronus fell back and did a strike raid with his scythe. it stopped the fire for a moment. Quentin jumped towards the sythe and grabbed it for a moment, he sliced slean through Cronus who fell back, he landed more hites and then dropped the scythe. Cronis looked at him.

"Very intresting." He said, he got up and reformed his scythe, Hades had an idea.

"Hey Quentin, we need to slice him up with the scythe again, he might ssplit into pieces and then he'll be like he was years ago." He said, Quentin nodded.

"Hmm... I wonder if anyone has actually realised that I'm up here yet?" Alex sat up on the roof and looked out to the distance and remembered what he said before he left. "As long as my friends are safe, I have nothing to lose. He, if anything where to happen, I would gladly die to protect them from anything." Alex summoned his keyblade and looked at it. "If it wasn't for this thing, I would never have met them. It's been about a year now since all this started, I can't believe it's only been a year. I feel like I've lived a full and complete life and also... I was able to change my destiny." Alex said remmembering the time he had a vision of the future where he died fighting Raxus at the keyblade graveyard. "Yeah, but that didn't happen. I know the greatest weapon that I have... is my heart and no one can take that away." Alex de-summoned his keyblade and lay back down wondering when someone would notice that he had returned.

"Hey there!" said the voice of the tiny hooded girl, landing strait on his stomach from a dark corridor. "Oh wow..your stronger than ever now!...And your heart's in one piece." she said with a giggle, now jumping off of him. Just then another dark corridor opened and the more taller woman that saved him from before stepped through, the hood still masking her identity. "So...it looks like you are ready to face the darkness ahead for you. But I am here to tell you there is someone you will be needing back here on your side first." she implied, as if one of the keyblade weilders had fallen to the dark while he was away.

"What are you talking about, who do I need back on my side?" A thought just struck Alex and then he started to think about it. "You have got to be kidding me, they can't mean that 'he' has fallen to the darkness." Alex then descided to ask the woman. "Alright tell me what ha happened to Vexitus." She seemed surprised that Alex was able to work out within a short amount of time. "... also, tell me who you two are and what do you want with me?" Alex said standing up to look at the women straight in he eye's.

The woman sighed and let down her hood, her long silver hair flowing down to her mid-back. She looked up at Alex with golden eyes, full of sadness and regret. "I am Scarlet...I am his mother." she said softly, the little girl running to her side. "And this is his little sister. You see..a while back I was killed by his father and ended up being turned into a heartless...but now I exist as a Nobody..and share my daughter's heart. Alex....I cannot go near my son because his overwhelming power is too dark it would instantly corrupt me." she explained, looking at him in all seriousness. "I did what I had to when he was still a child....but I knew what he truly is. His real father is..Riku." she said, holding her arm.

 

Meanwhile

 

"So you have come back to where you belong Vexitus..' said Exus as he sat on his throne, Vexitus glaring at him. "Looks like the brat doesn't wanna talk." said the man in the samurai armor, meeting his end when Vexitus launched a Dark Fire attack.

"His father is Riku, THAT'S A LOAD OF CRAP!!! RIKU DIED A THOUSAND YEARS AGO, HOW THE HELL CAN YOU EXPLAIN THAT?" Alex felt completely in denial, he knew that this had to be a lie because Riku has been dead for over a thousand years. Alex felt stressed, his darkness was back and he obviously has a lot of anger. But more than anything Alex was confused. When Alex was younger, Alex always got angry at anything that he couldn't understand and that's how the darkness had an influance over Alex when he joined the Organization. "So tell me the truth, who are you? There's no way in hell that Vexitus can be Riku's son."

Scarlet smiled at this and merely walked a bit closer, summoning her keyblade. It was the Road To Dawn keyblade and she merely smiled. "Do you think I meant Vexitus was born from his seed.........Alex Vexitus is the darkness that was expelled from Riku." she said, referring to when Ansem's machine overloaded and was destroyed. The hearts he had downloaded into data had collected the darkness that was within Riku making a new heart, this not explaining how Vexitus got a body.

"None of this still doesn't make any sence, what you'r telling me is that Riku had lost his darkness and that darkness became Vexitus." she nodded. "Well then a heart can't survive on it's own, where did he get a body?" Alex waited for her answer while still wondering about what had happened while he was gone.

It was obvious she was not proud to say it but she knew she would have to confess to someone, looking down. "I..had to create a vessel for the heart to be carried......it was what I was told to do by my husband. I see now why he wanted the heart to have a body...for the darkness that could grow within it. I used countless Nobodies in experiments to mold and shape the body...the heart taking care of it's features." she said, admitting she was a monster for doing this.

"How can you do such a thing? And Vexitus, does he even know?" She shook her head in shame. "He has the right to know and for starters there's something you still haven't told me." Alex looked at her with anger in his eye's. "WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ME?"

"You two...have a more important bond than you know.....same place growing up as a matter of fact" she said, leaving the keyblade on the roof and vanished. This was large hint to where Vexitus would strike and it was bad for the people of Radient Garden. // From the old castle Vexitus stood next to Exus, the darkness pouring out from the keyhole Sora sealed so long ago. The way they opened it up was by using Riku's first keyblade to mimic the hearts of the seven princesses and force it open. "That's right Vexitus....know who you are." Exus said, smirking under his cloak.

Alex walked over and picked up the keyblade that was left behind. "This is a different sort of keyblade, must be because it's so old. There are still things I don't understand, and that really gets on my nerves, but I don't have time." Alex then jumped off the roof and ran into the kitchen, no one was there. Alex left a note behind saying for them to come to Radiant garden and quickly. Alex then left the world and headed to Radiant garden. "Vexitus, what the hell happened to you?"

Cronus slashed at Quentin who ducked and hit him in the face, He fell back, he got back up and started doing a multisstrike raid, Quentin jumped back, and kept avoiding. He threw his kis keyblade towards Cronus and grabbed the scythe. Hades created a wall of fire that surrounded him, Quentin jhmped forward with the scythe and started cutting away. Cronus then became twenty little pieces, HAdes created twenty different portals and forced one into another.

"Alright, we sure showed him." Quentin said, Hades nodded and smiled. they looked back and saw a light form behind the throne. A keyhole appeared.

"I guess that's my call." Quentin said, HAdes stepped back, Quentin re-summoned the keyblade.

Alex arived at Radiant garden. "Ok where could he be?" Alex then noticed that the sky was growing darker. "Oh man, this seriously can't be good." Alex heard a familiar voice in his head. "Alex watch out, up ahead is a very powerfull being, I'd say his power level is over 200,000." "Yeah, I noticed that. Me and you gotta work together on this one, you got that Raxus." "Yeah I got it." Alex then ran towards the dark clouds where coming from. "Oh don't tell me. OH HELL, THERE AFTER THE KEYHOLE!!" Alex then flew as fast as he could towards villains vale, where Sora had sealed the keyhole a thousand years ago. Alex arrived but there where heartless blocking his path. "I don't have time for you." Alex pointed index and ring finger at thw group and they all vanished within an instant, obviously this was Raxus' power. Alex then flew to the top of the castle and found Vexitus and some other guy. "Vexitus stop this, NOW!!!"

He pointed the keyblade at the keyhole, it worked, suddenly Quentin started dissipearing for some reason.

"What the?" HE asked, HAdes scratched his head. Quentin fully dissipeared. he re-appeared at the keyhole in hollow bastion, there were heartless all around. He summoned his keyblade.

"do these keyholes... ac as a portal to others?" He wonderred. he slashed through the group of heartless and easily defeated them. He sensed something, on the roof.

Vexitus stared blankly at Alex and merely lifted his hand, blasting a large bolt of black lightning at Alex. "Humph...do you really think you can talk to him?...He doesn't even know who you are anymore." said the man next to him, Vexitus's eyes blank. The lightning that Vexit's used was meant to hold Alex in place for a bit bit this new power Alex had aquired allowed him to break free with ease. "Vexitus..take care of him..." Exus said and then made his keyblades appear

, Vexitus summoning both his keyblades.

Quentin looked up, he saw Vexitus about to attack Alex, and a strange man, he seemed strong. Quentin created his rider and got nto the roof, he dismissed it.

"What the hell's going on?" He asked ut loud, he looked up and saw heartless ships... an invasion. Quentin summoned his keyblade.

Alex looked down, it was Quentin. "Quentin, stay out of this I'm the only one who can take him." As Alex was talking to Quentin, Vexitus came and almost slashed Alex after he just dodged the attack. "Phew, that was close. He's faster than before, he must be being controlled." Alex then split his keyblade into Oblivion and Oathkeeper. "Looks like I'll need these two for this fight." Alex then used both swords to parry every attack that was coming at him, but then Vexitus got under his guard and cut his cheek. "I'm impressed, alright Raxus you ready." "You got it." Then they both said in unison. "Resonance link." Alex and Raxus then joined there power level's and it become a power level of 250,000. "Alright, let's do this." Said Alex with his and Raxus' voice in a mix. Alex then rushed towards Vexitus and attacked and made several hits, but none where vital points. Alex then moved so fast that not even a bolt of lightning could keep up with him, he then re-appeared behind him and knocked Vexitus out instantly with the handle of the blade. "Now...who are you?" Alex demanded from the other person that was controling Vexitus.

Quntin looked up.

"What's the hell going on with him?" He asked. Mora ships were coming down. He looked out and the man with Vexitus lower onto his level. HE had a hood over his head, so Quentin could not distinguish his features. Quentin held his keyblade to his side ready for a fight.

"Fine then don't tell me you'r name, but I'm still gunna kick you'r ass." Even though the man was wearing a hood, Alex knew that he was smiling. "Alright I'm gunna take you out in one blow." Alex chanelled his dark energy into his Oblivion and his light energy into his Oathkeeper. "Alright, time to die." Alex then rushed forward and used a zantetsuken using both his swords in a 'X' patern. The man was coughing out blood a lot, but then he escaped. "Damn it." Alex said as he de-summoned his keyblade and his voice returned to normal.

Vexitus soon appeared behind Alex, obviously back in control because his eyes were back to normal. "Alex...I already know about everything. Thanks for knocking me out of it...but now." The boy said and called his keyblade to him. "I gotta finish this....." He said, Alex about to interject but Vexitus shut him down. "I'm serious!...just keep the town safe..." He said, dissapearing. "Yes my darkness..fill my heart with your power." Said Exus as he stood in front of the keyhole, Vexitus standing in the middle of the room. "You!..how did you break free!" Exus demanded an awnser. "It seems I was wrong...I actually do have friends. Even when I caused all of this... Now I know why Iku even bothered to fight... Because he had friends protect regardles if they would never forgive him!" Vexitus exclamed, charging at Exus who blocked his attack. Alex had followed Vexitus into the castle despite what he said and could see Vexitus was pushing Exus into the dark Keyhole along with him. "No you fool!..You will destroy us both!" Exus yelled, Vexitus and the dark conspiritor dissapearing into the shadows. The keyhole now becae somewhat of a blackhole that was sucking in all the darkness it let out, sealing itself back up and Vexitus was nowhere to be seen. All that was left were his dark keyblades that were left on the floor, the boy sacraficing his unstable existance to save Traverse Town.

(Where in Radiant garden not traverse town)

"Vexitus? VEXITUS, where are you?" Alex looked down at the two keyblades that where on the ground. "Vexitus, you where a true keyblade wielder." Alex picked up the two keyblade's, neither of them had any power. "If these have no power then that means he really is..." Alex then took the two keyblade's and stabbed them into the ground next to the keyhole in a cross formation. "This way, people will remember that Vexitus saved this world from darkness." Alex then walked out with his head down, he felt bad that he coudn't do anything to help. "I guess... I need to stop feeling sad, that won't help anyone. Now I had better become stronger than ever." Alex then left the room giving Vexitus a final resting place.

Quentin watched all that happened.

"Oh my god." He said. he walked over to the keyblades, he didn't really know Vexitus well, but that was true courage. He looked at the keyblade, the keychains were dangling aimlessly, he stopped them for a mment and got up. He walked to Alex.

"So er... I'm sorry I couldn't help." He said.

"It's ok, there was nothing that either of us could have done. Anyway..." Alex turned back to look at the keyblade's. "He's what you would call a hero and we have to remember that." Quentin nodded. "Ok, we had better head back to LoD and explain to the others what has happened." Quentin nodded and they both activated there armour and runners and left Radiant garden and Vexitus behind.

'...I wonder where Azura is...' Quentin thought in his mind.

They flew out of Radiant Garden. It seemed the heartless ships were thickening in the lanes so they would have to be careful. quentin flew by one and then avoided a massive cruiser, he looked ot Alex.

"This can't be good at all."
