    I'd go as far as to say, this is the last time square enix made a game that delivers on every front equally nicely but I haven't finished yet

    When I played it, Tifa is the one who came saving Cloud. This guy playing tho got Aerith

     

     

    While fighting Sephiroth

     

    So what I am guessing is

    Based on the resolution in chapter 14, you get

    one of those 3 to come save you. If you talk to Barret, you get Barret saving your ass. Talk to Tifa and you get her saving your ass
