they go from this huge reveal that shinra's about to drop a plate to then pad out the run time for a couple hours to try and lower the stakes

I feel like part of dislike for ff7 is that people are replaying the same game

Like yeah it's a remake and things are different, but like
knowing what's going to happen already kinda puts a damper on the experience, even if it is new

however...I did really enjoy the ending

Nomura is free to do what he wants with the story and that's what Im most excited for

....that and zack surviving

I still like the graveyard section. Although I agree it wasn't the best place to put it, it at least gave aerith something more to her character.

I can get being annoyed because I would too if I was attached to them, but constantly talking about how they should bring the old VAs won't really change a thing either. It's changed and it's going to stay like that for the rest of the remakes here on.

I wish we could play as other characters instead of this Cloud all the time

And the moments that we do play a few other characters it seems like it would have worked just fine
