I expect so far that the major criticism of XVI will be the zone design and maybe the UI. Everybody who plays XIV knows that UI and zone design are Creative Business Unit 3's greatest weakness

Elden Ring's UI was a big controversy last year among game devs because it didn't appear to be what western devs considered as "objectively" good UI design and some of them went so firetrucking hard on game journalists because of them giving the game a 10/10
