My running theory as of now is still that the Box is actually a portal- it's how Master of Master's gets out of Quadratum

Basically I think when he went there it was a one way trip, through the box or not, whatever, but, that's why he never wants it open.

I think the Foretellers coming back are part of some plan of his, and, he's been waiting for the right time for the box to be opened, which, Luxu probably knows when that is. And when he does, bam, the boys are back in town.
