Now listen I'm not against trying new stuff with almost century old characters but the two key aspects that people get wrong when they try is

1. Be respectful to the character(s) and their history. Doing something new and trying to do new stuff with their character doesn't mean just changing stuff 'to be different', it needs to still feel like them.

2. And this is most most important,
