for tb the things I mentioned, for action rebirth combat

Yeah exactly, theres a lot more interesting mechanics you can do with tb than action

In terms of TB mechanic SE peaked with Octopath Traveler 2 imo.

OT2 has the depth of press turn but with a completely different core system

Honkai Star Rail has an entire turn-based competitive scene

if Atlus knows what their audience wants they will turn a certain climax in the game into an anime cutscene because it was such a banger in the P4 FES anime

one of the rare cases where a scene in an anime is better than in the actual game
