December 30, 20204 yr Sorry I keep showing up in your posts, it's just when people talk about Birth by Sleep I tend to look. lol I'm going to try to avoid spoilers, but given your questions I'm going to have to say a few. Just minor spoilers for Birth by Sleep, and... I guess spoilers for Kingdom Hearts Union X? Spoiler Presumably his first Master was one of the Foretellers, but it's never implied which one of them. Also, the game never really discusses the exact connection between the Keyblade wielders and their Foreteller Master. As a reference, Union X is assumed to take place 1,000 years before Kingdom Hearts 1. I only play the English Union X, so my info could be a little behind, but through a currently unspecified event Ven ends up from Union X to about four years prior to Birth By Sleep (Birth by Sleep is ten years before KH1). Not much is really known about this time, but he is taken in as Xehanort's apprentice. After a specific incident, though, Ven is passed to Eraqus, and lives with him, Terra, and Aqua for four years. Birth by Sleep starts here. While I would always recommend playing the actual game, you could always look up the cutscenes to Birth by Sleep in the meantime, if you need the reference. Same with Union X, as you can find the English cutscenes online, as well as fan translations of the Japanese one.
